We're fortunate to have good friends! Our anonymous friend was kind enough to offer us his 2020 50 mile Ferrari 488 Pista and his 800 Ferrari 458 Speciale on a beautiful Saturday morning. So we took the cars for a spin on a comparison drive.
1st and foremost - the Pista is just something you need to see to understand. Sooo much detail on the car, useful detail - aerodynamic features throughout the entire car.
To us the most shocking aspect of the car is having 710 horsepower and yet still be a completely civilized car while driving automatic through downtown Miami.
In the end - it's an absolutely incredible car and of course a collector car (looking long term), but we both agree that the 458 Specaile is the one to keep IF you had to choose only 1. The Ferrari 458 has such a simple streamline design and that SOUND of the normally aspirated V8 engine can't be beat!

I love the Speciale more, the brutal sound, the aggressive looks and its design is much original And also I have one.. in 1/18 😅

I love the 2015 458 speciale. There selling for 350k to low 400k with low miles and mint condition. I would buy one in great condition and higher miles. As I would drive it. These cars were meant to be driven.

@Mr. Invisual I've heard other people say the same. I love the 458 speciale. One day I would like to own one before they too expensive. I could see a low milage, mint condition example costing one million. Right now you can get a 2015 mint condition one for 350k to low 400k. I would drive it if I had one so mine wouldn't be worth as much.

@Jatt's Opinion issue is that turbos I know all over pista is a very nice car but speciale has that legendary 4.5 L naturally aspirated v8 engine which sound very much better than pista

@@mrbabyears Speciale's with miles don't really exist. People are either not driving them, or if they do drive them, they don't sell them.
Man! Your guys content is on another level! I’m sure I’ve said that in the past but I’ll say it again, you guys deserve way more subscribers than what you have right now!
The Speciale is amazing, but 488 Pista is another level!!

The 488 GTB looks ugly, the F8 Tributo horrible, at least the pista looks a little respectable, the only thing that i don't like is her mouth, if she would have a mouth like the 458 italia, her same measurements, would looks amazing ;)

458 Speciale is my dream car
A vehicle has to be more than just power. Power is awesome but without soul, you don't enjoy it to it fullest . I'm with you guys, though the PISTA is 🔥. You can't beat an N/A engine, it just put this smile on your face when you hear that engine screams revving up to 9000 RPM 😍

458 speciale is better. For the colour, the sound of the engine, the look. I love it

It’s hard to beat
The 488 Pista all day every day!
I test drove both cars and both are amazing machines. But for me the breadth of ability of the Pista simply makes it the better car, add to that the brakes which are way better on the Pista, meant that my choice was to buy a Pista which I did last year and my ownership experience with the Pista so far has simply been incredible!!
I would take the blue color in the red car. On sound alone. 🎶

Speciale for sure--that SOUND!! - can't get that from a turbo charged engine!
Both Ferrari 488 Pista and 458 Speciale are the coolest. 😀🏆
I have a 488 u have to put it in the dual clutch mode so you can get the full sound

Low mileage Ferrari’s make me cry. Put more mileage! My pick? Any Ferrari with a 12 cylinder that I can fit into!
Cars today are too fast and can't be driven anywhere near their limits except on the track. . I'd choose the Speciale all day long.

Pista with a novitec exhaust is middle option for u Engine swap may come with lot of issues

buy speciale first then pista
Both looks great, but 458 speciale wins in design, about the 458 italia and 488 GTB, wins 458 italia, the 488 GTB looks ugly, unless the 488 pista looks a little decent.
I'll pick neither. The true end-of-era Ferrari is the 430 Scuderia with its single-clutch automated manual
