I love the complexity of tfmg because the builds just seem so real and alive

They should really use forge tags for fluids. So they would be cross compatible, and also compatible with other mods like Ad Astra or Immersive Petroleum

I believe the diesel generators mod has some compatibility with other mods, but not tfmg. You can really easily add tags to the fluids in forge and I did it to make these two mods compatible and also compatible with thermal expansion, just a simple script

For Create: Diesel Generator, you can apply a redstone signal to the engine as well to turn it off and save fuel.

for air intake, u can make 1x1 fans 2x2 fans and 3x3 fans. idk about how much su they take, but u only need power one of the fans instead of all of them. for create the factory must grow

Diesel Generators is the obvious pick for me because it is the only one that works on fabric.

I use Diesel Generators. Tfmg over complicate thinks way too much. Looks cool in Creative and in mod showcases but diesel generators is so much more Suevival friendly.

Both mods are pretty neat, tho the only gripe I have with TFMG is the weird choice of rpms. They're almost all this weird number that is tricky to use right off the bat and need a speed controller for a more precise control, whereas DG you have usable numbers where you dont necessarily need speed controllers. It's a nitpick for sure but that was always something that bothered me

Valkyrien Skies: Clockwork and Create: interactive are the physics based create mod add ons, clockwork allows you to build vehicles and interactive makes create contraptions(the parts of a machine you glue together and attach to a bearing to move) have physics, so they don’t go through walls and collide with one another. Edit: interactive also makes train derailment have physics, so trains will actually “derail” fully off the track rather than having their usual fixed derailment animation

Compare crafts and additions and new age next please!

I prefer create diesel generators. TFMG is high quality but its just a bit too in-depth for me.

TL;DR TFMG is more realistic but requires more work

One thing that's bad about TFMG is that it's not compatible with new versions of Create.

For me it seems that engines from both mods suck in SU output comparing to simple steam engines from basic Create, but need much more work to run them.

sadly there is no TFMG for fabric :( edit: How do i use diesel generators canisters and barrels? idk how to pump things into it XD

Just connect a pipe to the top and use a pump to pump it in from a tank.

@@neves5083 is your pump working the right way? And if you place a pipe on top of the canister and another one next to that pipe does the pipe still turn into the canister? If not I think something is wrong on your end, it works just fine for me.

Yo, i think you made a mistake. The diesel engine from diesel generators produces only 3k su, modular engines only produce 4k su.

Diesel Generators likes to bug out normal create and delete items from the game. Also I cant ever get the pumpjack working no matter what i try.

Ah, so diesel generators bugging out create components is a known issuer then? Have you checked out my video on diesel generators? I have a guide on building pumpjacks (there's an item that you need to /give yourself in creative called the pumpjack hole or something like that.)

But... level 9 steam engines are just better... While the mods are interesting, I wouldn't bother with refining oil just to get less SU than 1 or 2 steam engines...

TFMG is only on Forge (cringe)
