since NATO expansion after 2000, serbia has more friends there than "considered enemies"...there were 14 countries in bombing coalition in 1999, out of 30 NATO countries today. also the exact same year poland, hungary and czech republic entered NATO, and we had a great relationships with them both throughout history and now.

People don't know what they are actually saying when they say "I hate/dislike America.". I think they dislike certain institutions within one country. In example of America, people do hate NATO, Government or any other institutions that made us Serb suffer for quite some time. We still do have a bad image as a nation throughout the Western world because of it. eastern europeans have somewhat opposite opinion about USA- a place where u can become anything u want, but at the same time u can become nobody with snap of the finger. cruel place to live, with 0 regard of wellbeing of society as a whole. people in europe tend to dislike life lottery, so they prefer stable socialist-like systems that take care of the weak on expanse of the rich, to a certain degree. public schools, public healthcare, more collective mindset (as opposed to individualism) etc.

Growing up there but knowing other places gave perspective and I could see the ones that defended california were people who didn’t travel and we’re constantly being told they lived in the best place in the world(propaganda).

I can say pocitics and politicians made all this and trough media. Young people are so naive and TV prone. Hate is mostly pointed towards politics and government decisions against our country, whether that would be about Kosovo (where US also play a large role) or anything else.Common people don't hate each other if they would meet in person, and i mean we all travel to Albania and vice-versa. Kosovo is delcate topic but i can tell no hatred is pointed towards Albanians just regarding situation that is going on on Kosovo. As for US, our people don't know anything about them as much as they don't know about us, but only what is served trough media. This what i said is 100% and many Serbians would agree with me. I'm pretty sure it's just the lack of travel and long arm propaganda from Russia. U.s is pretty diverse. We got all the orthodoxies. I got a Hindu temple, a mosque and a jewish temple-- all right across the street from each other-- that share parking lots during holy days. And you can say the u.s. is racist, but the Serbs systemically tried to eradicate Muslim. It's like the Chechnyan and Russian president saying there is no gays in their country, when they are actually committing genocide. I'm pretty sure Serbians cant say bad things about their government. For u.s, it's a national custom. So atleast we got that goin.

I want to visit Serbia as an Albanian. I know it would be safe for me there, logically, but after seeing all these responses, it makes me second guess. There’s a lot of Serbians that come here for vacation. I am sure my fear won’t be reality but still, it makes you stop for a second and think.

I was in albania and i had great experience with people. Even market seller knew serbian so he was nice surprise 😂 Just to explain some things to you.. we hate albanians cuz they hate us and cuz of kosovo. But meeting you as a one person and if you are nice to me i will be nice to you without hate. So you won't have any problem in Serbia if you visit her. No one is gonna attack you, insult you or something like that. You will be passing stranger on street like any other stranger 😂 so you don't need to worry. Have a great time if you visit us ❤

I understood the question as my least favorite in the countries I visited cause I was a little high lol :). Otherwise Macedonia is my favorite country and I can say brother country :) I also visited Albania. A very beautiful country, both Serbia and Albania. Love Shqipëria. Loves from Turkiye :)

When I asked the question 'which country do you dislike?', some of those youngsters said 'America', and after finishing my questions. I asked them, shall we go to the candy shop and buy some candies but they wanted me to donate the money to the poor. They are really nice people but just dislike the U.S. for some reason.

A lot of people in Serbia don't like Albania. But it's not real hate. It's hate based on what they see on TV or read on the Internet, or because they heard that others do it. But if you tell them you're Albanian, they won't care If you are good, they will make friends with you. Serbs and Croats also "hate" each other, and you have countless Serbian-Croatian friendships or marriages. But unfortunately, people are very generic and stupid.

I'm just asking, "What country do you hate the most and why?" and I'm not asking to hate any country. Actually, this question helps to understand why Serbians dislike certain countries and can be examined to improve the relationship with those countries in the future. For example, many Serbians dislike the U.S. for the 1999 incidents. Many damaged buildings are still there in Belgrade. Now the U.S. government can issue an apology for what happened and Serbia can be included in the EU. And do things that improve the relationship... The world doesn't just disappear when you close your eyes, does it?
