Which Color Engine Oil Is Best For Bike, Car & Scooter? | Why Engine Oils Are Of Different Colors?
You must have noticed that the color of engine oils of different brands, types, grades are different from each other. Engine Oils are formulated and marketed as conventional, full synthetic, part synthetic and semi synthetic. What is the difference between synthetic and semi synthetic or semi synthetic and conventional? The difference lies in the type of base oils that are used in the formulation and this is what defines these engine oil categories.
The base oil used in a conventional engine / motor oil is 100% mineral oil which is obtained through the refining of crude oil. Here the crude oil is distilled and cleaned up to produce a high-quality base oil. This is done without substantial molecular changes being made to the hydrocarbons in the base oil during the process.
A synthetic base oil is derived though the creation of new base oil components (synthesis) to produce a stronger performing base fluid.
For a full synthetic engine oil 100% of the base oil composition contains these stronger synthesized base oil components.
For semi-synthetic or part synthetic motor oils (these terms are largely used interchangeably) the base oil composition is a combination of synthetic and conventional base oils.

Hlo sir in service centre they add an engine oil cleaner in my new engine oil after changing the engine oil. Now i understand that we have to add that before changing the engine oil but they have added the engine oil cleaner in my new engine oil. Color of oils,,, sir. Best video. Riders go by colors, sometimes. You have just demystified the the myths. Meanwhile, second hand market for vehicles is larger than showroom vehicles. Most of the owners do not maintain owners' manual. Thus, second hand buyers will not get them. This makes it difficult for such buyers to refer to manuals. Hence, plz make video on how to download manuals for old bs3 n 4 vehicles. Nowadays, companies maintain manuals on their websites only for latest vehicles. V have one bs3 cb shine bike n one bs4 vista disel car. If u do a video on this topic, it vl be a great help for your fans. Thank you.❤

But a good color engine oil is easier to read by dipstick not like tru 4 synthetic which doesnot show any color in dipstick for 1st 500km or running after that it goes yellowish but it is much difficult to read

Bad unless you rev your engine above 8k to full or if you are going a long distance then 300v is for you but you have to change it within a month because it doesn't have long-term aditive and also it doesn't meet jaso and api certification which is a must for reliability.

Basically i want to say 300v is made for race only purposes. The engineers of a race team use this oil and the racers push the bike to its limit for the whole day and change the oil after the race. they don't care about reliability. In this situation the 300v suites the most.
