Marss convincing Coney that palutena is better at basketball than yoshi honestly made my day

Now I sympathize with Marrs here and say that Shulk cheats more in the context of the game itself. Probably the most, actually, since he can literally change his weight class and statistics on a whim. Kazuya has a lot of moves, but he doesn’t really *cheat*, per se. It’s just that he has a larger plethora of skills at his disposal, even with his rage mechanic. *Editing this because I see a variety of comments with drastically different opinions (V2):* Though you may have different thoughts, it depends on the context in which you see “cheating”. For me, you can basically boil it down an unfair advantage or skill that no one else really has, and Kazuya only applies to that with his Rage-specific mechanic and his “always facing your foe” deal. Beyond that, he has other characteristics that aren’t exclusive to him, such as Super Armor on Smash Attacks, Immunity Frames on certain Recovery Options and Attacks, a Move that Reflects, the ability to stun/stagger an opponent with an Attack, and just having more Attacks/Moves than the average Smash Fighter. These characteristics are *not* exclusive to him. However, taking my same logic, the second best cheater imo would either be Hero or Min-Min, but I’d say Hero more. - I’m not saying Kazuya isn’t busted with his 0 to Deaths, I’m just saying that, in the context of what I define as a cheater, he hardly has any “cheater qualities”.

No, Kazuya definitely has some cheater moves. The main thing is that because Shulk isn’t a top tier, almost nobody plays him well enough to get into big tournaments and show the world just how bulls**t the gimmick of “my sword lets me be a different character” really is.

Kazuya has the second most cheater move in the game being EWGF, but Shulk has the biggest cheater move of all time. I’d give it to Shulk.

Honestly sora is the flakiest of the charactors. That man has a million friends and they are lucky to see him for like 5 minute between his adventures. "Hey sora wanna go get ice cream?" "Sure! Wait nevermind I gotta go to Pompeii to retrive the rings of friendship"

@@castform7 Not really. His chances were already 0% since the other two disagreed with him. But even if he had 30% chances of winning, as you estimate, calling in an expert raises those odds to 50%, by your own estimations. It was a good move. The fact that it didn't pay off in the end doesn't change that because he couldn't know in advance.

Never seek external help Coney. Don't you know this series is built on every character being mischaracterized by at least two people on the couch at any given time. The last thing you want to do is set the record strait for any particular character, else they'll never be able to compete with whatever BS came before.

I just wanna point out with the basketball one that Terry is canonically good at basketball

As a shulk main I have to say that shulk cheats more than kazuya. He not only has a "get down out of disadvantage" button that also happens to prevent kill moves from working, but he also has the ability to make all his moves deal like 50% while having no knock-back so they can combo more, and he can make it so all his moves will just kill you at like 30%. Not to mention that he has the sonic speed and free recovery buttons also.

I am so upset not a single person said Donkey Kong for who has the best dental Hygiene. Have you seen his pearly whites? They put everyone else on the cast to shame

They don't choose who they have. They are given a small stack of characters and just pick the best ones out of that list. That's why they sometimes have completely terrible choices and have to try to reason through them.

There is absolutely no way switching to shield monado in the middle of hit stun ISN'T the biggest cheat in smash, let alone dial storage

This is the best series, i love the reasoning, the chaos, Wadi playin for cont- oh god

I think Shulk cheats more because he changes his stats to make him a completely different person. Kazuya has easy touch of death combos but there is at least some kind of counterplay

Shulk’s Monados also make him worse. Smash makes him die earlier and buster makes him take more damage. Kazuya on the other hand has random invisibility and armor on like everything.

The Daisy argument is pretty mid. Because you are rich doesn't mean your teeth are at good health. And the way Daisy gets protrayed she couldn't care less about her teeth being perfect. Wii Fit and Bayonetta are both better examples, one being all about health and one who is very obsessed in being sexy all the time. Also both of them are also very rich, so it barely even matters.

Vikki actually won with that Olimar card. Dude just leaves behind all the pikmin, creatures that literally can't survive without someone to command them, at the ends of both 1 and 2. Plus he just "forgets" to bring Louie with him back home at the first ending of Pikmin 2. Dude also gets emails from his wife and kids throughout the game saying like "It was my birthday today. Damn it would've been nice to see my dad or for you to reply to us at least once" She should've just won right off the bat on the basketball question with Mythra as well. You can't cross up somebody who can literally read people's movements and see the future. It's the entire basis of her foresight mechanic. She also could've won *again* with Yoshi since he's literally the only character that was played that has canonically balled out in Mario Hoops 3 on 3.

Including base form, there are 6 versions of Shulk that he can switch between on a dime barring some cooldown in a match. Yeah, he probably cheats the most

Vikki was right about Ridley and basketball though, hes super tall, dominating, and can fly to the basket. Other players would stand no chance if he made the net his target Edit: Okay, a lot of people are saying he would pop the ball as soon as he grabs it, but who says he needs to grab it to be good? His defensive skills would be amazing. He could literally just stand straight up in front of the basket with his wings outstretched and no one would be able to shoot. And even if you call that too basket interference or whatever, he could do the same thing to whichever player has the ball. JUst stand in front of them with his wings outstretched around their body until they A) try to pass (unsuccessfully) and Ridley's team gets it, or B) run out of time on the shot clock and the ball goes to Ridleys team. The other team can't win if they can't score, and Ridley never even has to hold the ball

There is no way Ridley goes 5 seconds without popping that ball. Yeah he could maybe have a chance if he was gentle but do you really expect *Ridley* to be gentle?

Yoshi should have won the basketball one. My man has one of the highest double jumps in the game, has experience throwing round objects, and is literally in a basketball game called Mario Hoops.

The Panda crews ability to give incredulous stares in the face of bullshit reasoning only to follow up with similarly awful arguments is amazing. I also think Kirby being legitimately better with Monado Arts copied is evidence that Shulk cheats more, no character would say no to those stat changes.

While this true and I agree Shulk is the biggest cheater in ultimate, there isn't a single character who wouldn't trade one of their tilts for EWGF. Move is fast, intangible, pushes shields and lets you combo into literally anything.

Here's why Kirby wins the basketball one. Kirby is known to go ALL out when in a competitive setting in his games. Man punched through a planet just for a punching contest, and hit a baseball an uncountable amount of light-years away. If he plays basketball, the planet might explode, and another god might die.

Ridley is just too big for the game he be winnin every hoop match

@@user-gr9kh2jv2f so kazuya has to go out his his way to predict one of SIX shulk modes, each with different knockback and kazuya still cheats more? some characters legit dont work against shulk. you can space out kazuya.

I think a fun way in the future to incentivize the players not to use their best cards right away would be to award the winner of the round as many points as there were cards played. So, if everybody used all of their cards and the last card won then that person would get 21 points (or however many cards they all have total, I just assumed it was like 7 each), however if the first person to go plays too good of a card from the start then they only get one point.

Fun Fact: Terry actually plays basketball as a hobby.

I mean, in SFV's story mode Ryu flakes to literally save the world and Ken takes his place.
