It might be because the pie crusts everyone chose to make really sucked. The egg and the cheese in pie crust? It's not really pie crust anymore. The apple ingredients they made in my opinion didn't cut it. So, I guess the people who tried it was thinking of their Mom's apple pie, which was better than what they got. Just by looking at what they put or didn't put in the pie made me want to cringe.

I made Gordon Ramsey's pie a couple of times and the crust is amazing! Way better than a regular crust.

The girl didn't even know that there was cheese on the crust until they told her so she quickly had to come with a bad comment saying"It made it worse"

These judges are so god damn picky 😂

The pastry loses moisture to the environment when left uncovered and not refrigerated. It leaves the filling also losing its quality.

Wow, they managed to not only find people who hate pie, but picky ones as well. Like seriously their criticism wasn’t constructive or actually useful. Like it was just “I Don’t like this, meh” Find better judges that are more objective, use blind taste tests so they don’t know what’s in the dish and don’t tell them which recipe belonged to which chef until after they voted for who was their favorite, which is a fairer way of testing and makes the video more entertaining for the viewer, because it actually shows a competitive edge, not this childish well I don’t like this and I like this chef more nonsense.

Crystalll Rod Their hesitation, looking to the side while giving their critiques suggest to me that they at least know a little more then are letting on about the originator of the recipe. If they are told right after eating what’s exactly in the pie after taking a bite, the next normally followed question is probably who made it. In general, a blind taste test that aims to be as fair as possible should let the judge or taster give their objective opinions, vote, then reveal the chef and then have them elaborate on what is in the dish. How the food tastes is all that matters and should speak for itself when deciding which is the tastiest.
