What about citizenship from being an employee of a US based, Fortune 500 company for many years. I thought I heard about this somewhere in the Nomad Capitalist videos.

Doesn't St. Kitts has zero taxation for people who want to live there? If so, that is a leg up and a reason to pay a "premium".

Yes except short term capital gains like trading short term crypto or stocks which are taxed.

There are legal channels to get CBI in St Kitts cheaper all in than Dominica and St Lucia, and the method is endorsed by St Kitts government. I was able to find this out in research with various other reputable companies. Clearly, the option to get the "platinum" passport for less than the lower end option is the winning play.

Really? Got any basic information to share on this? I'd be interested in doing this, but if I spend any more than about ~$100k USD on the dot, then it's not particularly worthwhile for me. I was considering Panama (cliches aside), but it could take ~10-15+ years to pan out.

Probably Dominica or St Lucia, I remember hearing somewhere their due diligence was less intense. St Kitts was the hardest. I also remember someone mentiinjng Vanuatu is pretty lax

What about passing the citizenship down to future generations?

What is the best place to get residency and citizenship with low or no income tax to renounce your US citizenship. I found out US government will not just let you buy citizenship, but also need a permanent residency.

Belize You can apply monthly for temporary residency. Then after 1 year you get residency. Then after 5 years you get citizenship through nationalization. Belizean passports are underrated, but most wealthy folks aren’t committed to living there 5 years

I heard that bigger nations might bully these small island nations into taxing people who get citizenship by investment. Is st kitts and nevis heading in that direction long term or is it firm in its no tax beliefs like the cayman islands?

Trinidad does not have CBI, You're either born in Trinidad or have parents/grandparents who you can get dual citizenship through descent. Not sure about Jamaica

yes, I'm Chinese and I am pretty sure that the Dominican passport will become ( probably next year) the 14th passport which could get a visa-free entry to mainland China for at least 15 days.

The USA should stop taxing worldwide sourced income for their citizens and resident so more citizens will stay thus more remittance will go to USA to sustain economy.

I am a US national eligible for Mexican citizenship though the parents/grandparents of my significant other. But the parents can’t believe why we would want a second citizenship, much less in a country like Mexico (in their view). US citizenship was so long the golden ticket in their eyes, but in our eyes not so much. Our view is many parts of Mexico are just fine. Any tips on convincing them to help us? Do we try to give them the full Nomad Capitalist style education?

As a Mexican citizen, it's easier to get Spanish (EU country) citizenship than solely as a US citizen. Not to mention visa fees to some countries can be cheaper with a Mexican passport than a US one. You can probably get Mexican citizenship without your parents help if you get all the documents lined up.

Antigua is awesome with crypto. When the taxi driver says I take bitcoin 😳. Whaaattttt I love it. I was not expecting to use bitcoin in the Caribbean. I love Antigua.

Great video, I am from Guyana, and I'm a Grenadian citizen, but I agree as far as Antigua is concerned.

If our children get the St.kitts passport by our investment, can they give the nationality to their children (our grandchildren) in the future ?? Also is alternative investment legit or a fraud? Can they revoke it for any reason?? I appreciate any advice,thx

If the child is BORN AFTER you get your Citizenship, then they are automatically eligible for St. Kitts and Nevis Citizenship. If the child was BORN BEFORE you got your citizenship, then they need to be NATURALIZED.

I think St Kitts has more visa-free destinations than any other Caribbean country

Love your content Andrew! Could you maybe make a topic about car friendly countries? For us car enthusiast it is a jungle to understand different regulations in regards of taxes and insurance and such. Im especially curious in those eastern european countries, for me being a swedish man living in switzerland now i am not liking how the western europeans countries are unfolding.

Which countries dont treate their citizens like walking diseases, because the news scared them to do so? Do any of those countries exist, with 0 personal income taxes?

Just a question, which caribbean countries have E-passports / biometric passports?

@@niccolotoccane3041 I did a quick perusal of Wikipedia. It looks like St. Kitts and Dominican Republic are the only Caribbean countries that do. I may have missed one though so you might want to check for yourself. This off course excludes places like Puerto Rico that are not independent.

Taxes are a higher priority than going to as many countries as possible with a passport. Unless I absolutely demanded access to a specific country, then taxes are going to be the most important factor. Both income and capital gains taxes, but also not having restrictive requirements like being required to live there.

@@jonathanbartsch2938 Panama 🇵🇦. Friendly Nations Visa allows permanent residency for $5,000, but it may end or change soon. So don't wait. Citizenship isn't so easy for Panama and could take 15 or 20 years. However, it is cheap and easy to qualify, can get a mortgage in US dollars that will hyperinflate away and its a territorial tax system that does not tax you on foreign earned income. If you are a US citizen, you are subject to worldwide taxation tyranny, but you can claim the foreign earned income tax credit up to like $108,000 and other credits. You can get citizenship and a second passport elsewhere, but it will require either time or money. Ultimately these are all steps toward independence and the option to renounce, if you become ready for that. I want the options of freedom and independence. I will not be told what my fate will be by the government, but rather create my own options and freedom where I'm treated best. Most people rank Panama at the top of their list as part of an ideal plan B, but its just one piece of the puzzle.

@@utube7917 Probably Saint Kits then honestly (if you're staying there more than half the year generally) in terms of taxes, particularly if you're getting just one passport and not a family. Panama is a good choice for permanent residency/longer-term citizenship plans.

What is the difference between the citizenship of Vanuatu and the citizenship of Caribbean countries? In my opinion there's no difference, the EU imposed a ban on Vanuatu just five months after I got it. Maybe after I get my St. Kitts passport, the EU will impose the same visa ban on St. Kitts also after five years for example, who knows?? because all the pretexts of the European Commission against vanuatu are abyss and the hidden reason behind the visa ban is that the European Commissioner targets all countries with a program Citizenship by Investment with Visa Waiver Agreement at the same time. The European Commission targeting process extends even to the countries of the Union that grant citizenship to investors.

I always wondered about that. What happens when you fork out 100s of thousands of USD for a citizenship that then gets banned by the EU?! Some Caribbean countries have been in the news for giving out CIBs to known criminals/fugitives/pedophiles. These practices are a guaranteed way to get banned from visa-free travel long-term. Most infuriating is that the locals who have nothing to do with it then also have to suffer the same ban!

Do I need to notify Spain that I got a second citizenship? Current policy says you need to express specific intent to keep your Spanish citizenship if you get a second one

By the end of 2022 all carabean country will need an ETIAS certificate to enter the Schengen zone.

@@KJ-bc3deit's a simple process you enter online you fill your details your first name your email and your first destination in Schengen area after that you will pay 10$ with your visa card after 7 minutes you will receive in your mail box ETIAS you print it and you will take it with you to enter the boarder of your first Schengen destination

If the SHTF big time how survivable are these places?

Is it not important to also consider the country' attitudes and regulations. For example, they refused to evacuate un-vaccinated people when recently the volcano erupted. Not sure which country it was but the Caribbean seems to have the same attitude towards that based on the news available. It's questionable If somebody would want to be a citizen of such country no matter how cheap they sell the citizenship for...humanity first.

Since Turks and Caicos isn't an independent country, it probably doesn't have its own citizenship, and it can't have a CBI program, so Nomad Capitalist has no reason to cover it.

That's why the worse has desired to come to the USA. However, the US has long since abandoned Individualism for collectivism and central banking, quickly becoming a serfdom under central planning and central bank hyperinflation of the unconstitutional fiat. The US does not follow American philosophy or American constitutional law. The US has become an out of control, unrestrained collectivist government of fascism partnering with big tech and the banking "elite." The heritage foundation ranks countries on numerous aspects of freedom and the US has fallen to #20!! Lol. So much for being the envy of the world. The dollar will be replaced as the world reserve currency in less than 15 years according to people like Druckenmiller. The politicians in these countries are parroting the world economic forum tyrannical call of "you will own nothing and be happy" and collectivist stakeholder capitalism with digital ledger currency and without free markets or sound money. Places that have escaped collectivism have been running toward individualism, excuse they saw the horror of their past and the promise of what made America great at one time. Prosperity is finding a new home where it is treated best and those who want to go down with the titanic are free to do so. Worldwide taxation and digital ledgers, when you don't even live or do business in the US, are the ultimate form of tax tyranny. If you want freedom and prosperity, you go where there is more individualism, not less. As Wayne Gretzky says, "While other players skate to where the puck is, I skate to where the puck is going. As true freedom, private property and individualism loving Americans spread out across the world, freedom and prosperity will spread to many other countries and restore the world order. So what happened at the Mexican conference? Why didn't you stream any of it LIVE? Why no videos of the various functions? Why haven't you said anything about it? Your supporters have listened to your tag on hundreds of hours of videos encouraging us to go to the conference and then nothing? For many of us this was not a good year to attend but next year is much more likely -- if in fact a conference takes place. We'd love to hear more.
