Which are the best trees for the environment

Native trees like Peepal, Neem, Jamun, Pilkhan, mango have many more benefits to the environment than non-native trees. Non native trees look good, but have few benefits, and planting them is like doing makeup on nature.
Give Me Trees Trust has planted more than 20 million trees all across the country. It was founded by Peepal Baba, who is one of the most renowned environmentalists in the country. Give Me Trees has more than 7000 volunteers throughout the country.
Peepal Baba and Give Me Trees have been featured in Hindustan TImes, Your Story, Zee News and other media channels. Peepal Baba is the recipient of many national awards, including the Unsung Heroes Award, presented to him by John Abraham.

My advice to begginer gardeners..plant anything which you find beautiful... That's what I did and now I hv 200+ trees planted myself... I really loved the look of Gulmohar tree in bloom when I was a schoolkid.. so I collected seeds from the pods that fell down from the pods, and planted them in my garden.. because I loved the look of the gulmohar, it was my dream to make my seedling plants into the tall beautiful orange umbrella.. and that motivated me to take care of them and water them daily...and after that, I developed interest in all other trees..

Just wanted to mention that India has other native trees of great natural significance: Palash, Semal, Pipli, Champak and Ebony (Tesu). These are not only givers of shade and preservers of soil, but also good for wildlife. 🙏🏼

This is for a plot in India which is quite far from where my parents live (near Chennai). They can water once in few weeks. I intend to leave those trees as is and construct house around it after few years. Feel bad to leave a plot empty when few trees can positively contribute to environment.
