Unlike bumblebee, I think it actually makes sense that hot rod fought in ww2, considering that he lives with old transformers, I can only assume that hot rod arrived on earth much earlier than bumblebee in the bayverse. And my guess is that after the second world war he decided to retire and found his way to UK, where he meets up with bulldog and the Autobot lieutenant

Hot Rod sees Jazz about to get killed by Megs in a tower: "I STOP THE TIME" Hot Rod sees Sentinel Prime about to blast Iron Hide with the cosmic rust cannon: "STOP THE TIME"

TLK had so many interesting concepts, I wish they had been explored, instead of the tangled plot we got in the end. Hot Rod was a pretty cool character though, and I always wondered why he never helped Optimus' team if he was on earth the entire time.

You could say the same about the cons. Megatron had an army waiting on the moon (a lot of them had ships) so they could've flown to earth and helped secure the allspark in the first film

If Hotrod really did pull of a Bumblebee to get vivian to buy him it would be no wonder there such good friends

Also, I personally like to believe that Vivian’s father held on to Hot Rod and kept him in some sort of garage, with a left wish to pass Hot Rod on to Vivian if something happened to him, which seems to have happened, since other than flashbacks, he does not appear in the film.

8:18 the weapons hot rod was wielding were actually tonfa and sai, tonfas are basically batons but wielded differently while sai are dagger like weapons with three sharp point blades,with the middle one being the sharpest and longest while the other two being short and much blunter. Which is funny consider the fact that hot rod never used those kind of weapons during g1.

For his time gun I saw a perfect fanfic story where some of the transformers series react to the Bayverse. In there Alpha Trion says the weapon belonged to Vector Prime and somehow Hot Rod got into one of his vaults

That kibble part was something that confused me a bit as well but I just left it in my head that at one point Bee and Hotrod were triple changers but they abandoned triple changing because because they want their robot modes to look clean and sleek to varying degrees of success

That's cuz the digital cameras with flashing that MB used for his films are just sensitive and can get saturated which cause light problems on screens and that's why ironhide isn't red why rachet wasnt white and red and why optimus had litte bit of red colors on him

I like to think how Vivian got Hot Rod as her car was by her Father giving him to her, basically a Hand me down. It is said that Hot Rod swore and oath to Vivian’s father that he would protect her so it would make sense that Hot Rod was given to her by her Father

I like to think that the vehicles that both Bumblebee and Hot Rod briefly used in the World War II were just temporary vehicle modes and when they transformed, the two Autobots instantly reverted back to their preferred military vehicles.

I have a question: can bay-verse transformers turn there whole arm into a gun like in the WFC and FoC game instead of hand changed weapons

It feels strange to know that bumblebee fought in WW2 way... way before Sam was even conceived.

In the TLK featurette Motors and Magic, it is confirmed by the producers during the Hot Rod portion (i.e. the 2 minutes and 55 seconds mark) that Hot Rod originally belonged to Viviane's father.

Ik a lot of people do not like the Fact that Humanity has turned against the Autobots because of what happened in Chicago. But on the scenario would humans really turn against the Autobots or not really? (I'm Asking Bayverse Fans)

I have a theory on the vehicle modes and why they are different form their robot modes. My theory is that maybe hot rod and bumblebee scanned 2 vehicle mods but I doubt it since they later one use one vehicle mod but I believe so since this also applies to drift having a Bugatti veyron and a helicopter in AOE. But in TLK he ditches the helicopter and instead just scans a Mercedes GTR 2017. That’s my theory but let me know if you guys have a better one

@@eeveeofalltrades4780 he didn’t. When he had to clip two swords into his helicopter mode to allow him to have a full set of rotor blades, he lost one of his swords and thus was unable to fly and as such didn’t transform into a helicopter during TLK

The idea that alien robots have been chilling out with humans for a thousand years is hilarious even for fiction.

Some other video ideas for you that I think are semi interesting. How did Megatron lose his arm and leg at the end of TF1? Where were Hound,Drift and Crosshairs before TF4? Why do Grimlock, Scorn,Slug and Strafe have Dinosaurs as alt modes?

Those blades in both concept arts look so good. I love melee weapons in Transformers like Dino and Sideswipes blades are so cool 😃

Neither are blades, or they shouldnt be at least The left are tonfas, which can be used to whack, jab and block The right are sais, which are defense weapons. Most popularized by Daredevil and Raphael from the TMNT

I'd like to see a video explaining Optimus Prime's comment where looking for the allspark lead them to an "unknown planet called Earth", even though they showed that Transformers had gone to Earth multiple times for thousands of years, if not millions of years

The old designs look really cool but something about the movie's hotrod is so adorable lmao, I really like the design

It would have been so cool to see hot rod as a gtr and I think if hot rod was with them then he would eventually get one of drifts blades and become a samurai maybe making his own swords at one point giving him the duel melee weapons I think he would have helped take down onslaught and would have been on the alien ship (don’t remember if he was on there originally ) and would have tried to talk some sense in to prime

Also hot rod and bumblebee might have had multiple forms. Bumblebee could use his Mercedes mode to chauffeur someone special (Churchill) and tank mode for battle. The tank armor appears in robot mode for battle purposes. Boom. You have your answer.
