    @@sdqsdq6274 read the wikipidia bro.. untill the last statement. Thats why those two fish carrying the letter 'M' infront to differentiate them with RTG. The people whom conduct scientific grouping just simply put those fish as same species as the RTG. The scale & the colour itself is different enough.

    Asian arowanas are just more beautiful than their south american counterparts. I like their short stocky body and more prominent fins and colorful gradient scales.

    im from malaysia indeed perak KERIAN RIVER 30 year ago full Golden Cross Back Arowana and fishman eat them as food until arowana feever blom up so many peolpe coma to hunt them....one story have poor proverty Fishman in RIVER KERIAN have the luck cacth one Golden Cross Back and inside her mouth have baby Golden Cross Back blooom..the poor fisherman going to rich..you should know 1 more very rares is NAMI AROWANA from TERENGGANU river..

    yes it is one types of blue base gold, Bukit Merah one is very shinning so it is called sapphire gold

    You will never see big numbers of the arrowana in the Kerian River ever again. The original indigenous wild species of arrowana are gone forever. The greed of man once again made a precious and beautiful species [and an ancient fish] extinct in its natural habitat.
