Thanks for the video! I'm looking around to see where to do my first solo trip and Venice is definitely a contender :), I'm a huge beach fanatic and it's good to know I could combine the city with some beach time!

The funny thing is that when I was first told about Venice as a child I assumed that people swam everywhere.
So where exactly in Lido beach is it the best area to stay? At the end of the island near Santa Maria?

Go to any bus station, buy a ticket and go. The maps are not very easy to figure out immediately, but give yourself time to ride and pay attention to what is happening and it should set in. Good luck

Some parts are free but some parts where you have sun loungers and other facilities, you need to pay some fee
