Love that there’s an adventure centre right there in the resort. The pool area looks so nice and quiet too, we would have to leave the resort for the manatee adventure then warm up in the hot tub like you guys did☺️

Oh yeah, we had never been as excited to get in a hot tub as we were after spending over 2 hours swimming in sub 50 degree weather!

I’ve stayed here and it is beautiful. Boat ride on the bay is beautiful. Only downside was the hotel restaurant. Sloooow service if at all, they do a lot of weddings and the restaurant seems to be catering to those groups.

We're glad to hear you enjoyed it, Susan. Sorry to hear about the restaurant experience though. We decided to just have a drink there and have our meal over at the clubhouse restaurant, and that food was a great deal for the price and the service was outstanding.

It really does have a lot to offer and really isn't that far from Jacksonville. I'm thinking you two are ready for a road trip!

I have never been to a hotel room with so many usb ports... I never would have thought to look in the lamps...lol. Looks like a great room guys and the facilities were amazing. That pool was huge and loved the hot tub and yet another tiki bar..haha Looks like you were the only people there which must have been nice. Was also good that the manager swimming was so close but...it's all about location 👍 Awesome addition guys and thanks for sharing 👍😁

You really can never have enough USB ports, especially when you're sometimes charging 5 devices at once! We've seen ports in the lamps at hotels before, but not hidden on the back side like these. I'm guessing that most people never even know that they are there! Yeah, I swear the Crystal River area has more tiki bars per capita than anywhere in the world. They seem to be everywhere. And of course we are not complaining!

@@Explorcation I will have to be on the lookout for usbs next time...we normally take a power board.. with a few usbs... really easy when to need to convert the connections.

My mom goes to Bonita Springs every year from Minnesota. I’ll have to tell her to take a trip up the Nature Coast! Looks like a beautiful area. I bet she’d love staying at that resort too

Oh nice! We've only been to Bonita Springs once, but we really enjoyed it. It's such relaxing, laid back little beach down. But yeah, I think most people who enjoy Bonita Springs would also enjoy the Nature Coast and at the Plantation. You'll have to let us know if she ends up checking it out!

This whole video was awesome, the resort and the adventures! We were hoping to hit Crystal River on our upcoming FL trip but doesn't look like we'll be able to make it. Hopefully another time in the future!

Yeah, we liked a lot of things about this resort, but the convenient location to the manatee tours was easily the biggest perk. We hope you get a chance to do your own tour someday!

Great tour of the resort, I don’t know if we’d ever leave the property! Everything looks so convenient and love that the tour office is on site!

It was super convenient and relaxing. With the tour office right on site, I doubt we'll ever be staying anywhere else in Crystal River.

Wow what a beautiful place to stay! That breakfast looked delicious. I can't believe it was $4.50 a piece!

It really looks like a beautiful resort. Your room looked super cozy too and nice modern design. Seems like they have a lot of amenities there as well. I'd love to try the tiki bar! Seems so tropical. And I've never had a key lime martini - so that would be on my list as well.

Ooo you definitely need to try a Key Lime Martini. Florida is pretty much known for Key Lime everything, so you won't have any troubles finding them down here. The one at 98 Degrees was one of the best we've had though.

Hey again guys! I think I would escape the winter and head to the Crystal River 😅 Your room looks super comfortable and charming, and the bed looks super comfortable. The plantation looks incredible - the perfect place to relax and I didn’t know that there are so many activities to do! I would love to watch the manatees!! It seems like such a cool stay! You guys made a great choice. So many things to do there, pretty impressed. I remember your previous video with mermaids, it was so cool! Tiki bar seems so cool (btw love Bloody Mary's and ever since I saw it I cant stop thinking about it lol)

Yeah the mermaid place is actually only around a half hour or so from this place. There's all sorts of cool stuff to do in this area, but swimming with the manatees has been our favorite by far!

We definitely need to visit this place.

Sounds like you might just have to move down here, Bob! We did not have time to kayak or paddleboard on this trip, but the Adventure Center would be a great place to launch kayaks or paddleboards, as it would be a pretty quick paddle to the springs and all the manatees.

Inexpensive sandwiches! And totally golf…27 holes? Wow. Sweeeet room. Patio! Hello…

Yeah it really had much more to offer than the other hotels we'd previously stayed at in Crystal River. And we loved the little restaurant on the golf course. That sandwich was soo good for the price!
