This guy was selling a lot, not big not small that had chevron gold nuggets (real keepers.) And ask my buddy if he would like to spilt the sale. No answer so I turned to him where his lower jaw was hanging wide open. When he regained composure he stated he had never seen a piece a gold like this. By the way, these lots are across the way of the famous Gold Mine in Northern Nevada.

It has PROVEN PHYSICS for teaching the world how to dowse with the modern light weight ball bearing dowsing rod, which is the only dowsing rod that can decipher and gauge what is dowsed by pitting the power of gravity against the power of the elemental magnetic flux lines being dowsed. I could care less about you saying DOWSING DOES NOT WORK, what I care about is you standing on a shoe box misleading the general public about your ignorance to the physics that makes dowsing possible is the same physics used for electronic metal detecting. I dont believe unverified claims, theories, sales baloney, etc. I want to see actual gold and treasure in hand, because if someone actually could successfully dowse, they'd be a multi-billionaire. Did you watch the video? did it say just anywhere in the desert has good gold? No, you can’t just prospect anywhere - there are other people's mining claims and other lands not open. Join a prospecting club - there are many and you will learn more and they will have claims you can work for gold.

    Chris have you ever been up around Pahrump,Temple Bar, or Nelson? Would these be an okay place to get boots on the ground and prospect. Of course always always always checking land status first. I've recently moved to Henderson Nevada and I'm looking for a place if I can find one to file a claim for my hobby.

    Temple bar is in the Lake Mead recreational area and prospecting there is a crime. Nelson is mostly a hard rock area. Most Vegas area residents prospect around Johnnie (near to Pahrump) or NW Arizona. Watch my videos on placer gold in Nevada and the similar one on placer gold in Arizona. Do a Google search to download the books I mention in both videos. And join the Vegas chapter of the GPAA.

    Just wondering if you happen to know what the deposit is outside of Las Vegas heading south on the I-15. I always thought it was a pit that someone burned trash in but I finally went up to it and it is a strange deposit of what appears to look like apshalt to me. Small black sands in sandy layers. Really weird..

    I’ve got a rock crusher and fired it up once. It makes a lot of dust. On that note, I know to wear a mask. What are some of the dangers one might be exposed to when crushing? I know asbestos is out there. Is arsenic a widespread issue?

    Hi you said you answer our comments and questions. So I literally just spent $160 on prospecting equipment. 2 large metal detectors, 1 hand held spotter, a shovel and hand held pick are. So I never done this before, but am very serious about doing prospecting. I heard that there are a lot of abandoned gold mines in Pahrump. For someone like me, a total rookie, where would be a good place for me to start mining for nuggets?

  • @ChrisRalph

    @ChrisRalph

    2 жыл бұрын

    Just because there are old mines, it does not mean they are abandoned. Most of what looks old is under a current, legal mining claim. The GPAA chapter in Las Vegas and perhaps some others have claims near Pahrump in the Johnnnie district. These claims do have gold that you could recover. Going on an outing with experienced club members will help a total rookie like you learn the ropes of finding gold. You can find them with Google or you can also find them on Facebook at: facebook.com/Lvchaptergpaa/ Not really sure what metal detectors you have, but not every super cheap Chinese metal detector made to find coins is suitable to find gold. Again, you can learn a lot from the club members. Talk to Deanna, who is the president. So yes, I answered your question, it may not be what you wanted to hear, but its what you need to hear.

    Chris, I recently learned from a lecture from CWU, (Nick Z) that there is evidence of northern Nevada being over the hot spot that Yellowstone sits on now. It would explain the refractory in the high sulfidation zone and the big Gold being on the low sulfidation zone on the other side of the fault. Will Yellowstone produce this kind of Gold deposition one day ?

  • @ChrisRalph

    @ChrisRalph

    2 жыл бұрын

    This idea of Nevada over the Yellowstone hot spot is not universally accepted, but is thought by some geologists. Will Yellowstone have gold maybe half a mile or a mile below the surface?, perhaps. Check out my video on Yellowstone and gold deposits.

    @@ChrisRalph I did, and I'm a believer in Basalt flooding happening in stages. There is Basalt in Yellowstone older, like from an initial phase and opening. Then we have main phase emptying the caldera until collapse, (however long) , and a now closing phase of cooling over a long time with water that can't get out of the caldera and an goes through the down and up system of hydro-thermals. There's a basalt footprint from SW in Wyoming. I look at all Nevada from the sky and Southern Nevada looks like natural rift or trust faults merging with detachment faults under from subduction plates. they look almost like ocean waves, but not a lot in the Northern part of Nevada. The pattern disappears in the North. I watch all your videos.

    And here I thought that gold panning was a recreational activity. I can see why not allowing gold claims. But the government shouldn't stop panning. To me the government takes things too far. And the gold doesn't do anyone any good unless it found. And I doubt anyone would get rich.

I say Swindle because that rock specimen contained 8% gold 92% pyrite. especially in Rock was about as big as a basketball and cut in half exposing the minute amount of the gold,
