I always go around and check out every type of fabric a store carries. I have to touch touch them all too. I have bought fabric just because it feels good.

Thank you so much for these videos! I cannot love these enough. I miss my home town of Toronto with all of my being and know many of these amazing shops and their owners personally. Queen Street West is my happy place. I currently live in a crafting desert on the East Coast, and take any opportunity to connect with my home town and the beautiful and creative people who are fortunate enough to reside there. Thank you for the happy tears.

I call Fabric Fabric "spooky fabric warehouse' and recommend it to all my friends XD

One of my favorite fabric stores , now closed 😭, had a sign that read Collecting fabric and sewing are two different hobbies!!” 😂 Love a good fabric store, too many independent ones have closed in our state. So sad. Drooling over your video!

Love this video! I've shopped at almost all these stores and live dangerously close to Ewe Knit 😂 Every time I think I need to get out of the city, I remind myself that I couldn't live without these fabulous shops.

Farbricland opened a shop earlier this year on 15 Bloor St W. It's a short walk from Bloor-Yonge subway station. Convenient.

Chu Shing Textiles has the best Silk Charmeuse you can possibly find in Toronto. I miss fabric shopping in T.O.

Very nice video, can make one with tailors around Toronto, especially those who make evening gowns, mens coats, etc. I would love to buy the fabric, but I won't have the patience to make anything with it. 🙂

Hah! I might have known you were Canadian. Your accent didn’t give you away but this vlog did! I love Ottawa Street where there used to be a whole two block stretch that was all sewing/fabric shops in Hamilton. Went there often when my daughter lived in Burlington.

The days of independent fabric stores...

Can you please mention any online fabric store if you know and trust any? American online fabric store charges so much for shipping. I used to live in Toronto but moved to a smaller city right before pandemic and still didn’t find any good fabric store that meets my needs.

Oh man, take me to that Christy Pits store, and that last one! I'm swooning! How are you not laden with packages at the end?

You are in heaven, there must be something like that in Montreal, must check it out. My husband will kill me if I ask him to go to Toronto HA! Must also check out Miami when I get back home although I truly hate to go to Miami…..

Just bring my wife with you and she'll find those quilting stores. That woman can smell a Hobby Lobby from 50 miles like a shark can smell a drop of blood in the ocean lol
