Being a former Londoner living in the US for nearly 24 yrs! .. And imremember yrs back used to see a lady at a Bus stop quite regular) Well one day she started talking to me& she was originally from Belize ( when it was called Brit Honduras) and she said they enjoyed having the R.M Garrison there,because they kept the peace with the neighbors,provided a Emergency Ambulance service with their Helicopters & of course spent plenty of money in the local Town's Business( even employing some of the locals) But be careful of the local seductress,u never know what's around the corner!

Stew are you a south london boy lol! You brought back loads of great memories for me. I was there in October for the first time and stayed in regent street, in belize city right near the swing bridge. Beautiful place, beautiful people! I will be going back in March.It was a real pleasure to watch a fellow londoner mixing with locals and keeping it real!
