Where the Earth Drifts Apart - A Waterlust Film About Diving Silfra, Iceland

The Waterlust crew join Dive.IS to explore the frigid waters that fill the continental divide in Thingvellir National Park, Iceland.
The continental divide that separates the North American and Eurasian Tectonic plates creates a fissure in the surface of the Earth that fills with glacial runoff water in Iceland. Because the water is extensively filtered through lava rock before it reaches the fissure, the water here is some of the clearest on Earth.
Shot entirely with the GoPro Hero 4 camera.
Animation of Mother Earth created using Google Earth.

Just imagine touching two plates at once it's kinda weird to think about. That despite living in Pennsylvania in America you are touching the same plate your house and same plate as the London tower at the same time

As Andrew Hales said, you have to be Dry Suit certified but the company that does the tours will do a two day booking for you. First day is certification and the next day is this actual dive.
