Appreciate you saying that bud.
Man you have upped your game on the technical presentation. It was always very good but those transitions from walking around to fixed camera and back is impressive. Sound was great. Felt like I was in you shop. Again sorry to see Tommy go. That chemistry / zaniest you guys had going on was one in a million. Wishing you both the best. Looking forward to seeing the XJ project back to front and center. It's the reason I found you.

Excited to see what the future videos are going to entail. It's a shame to see Tommy go, definitely going to miss his vibe and creative humour. Wishing all the best for Tommy and his future endeavors. Keep the vids coming!

Very interested in the gas tank raise , I've always wanted to try that. I like the stock cherokee look in general hope you try to keep it . Good show first time channel subscriber!
I've noticed BC plates I'm from BC as well, love the show keep up the good work!!!
Great ideas for the XJ I'm stoked for the new windshield wiper set up. I want to do that on my XJ now. Thanks for the idea 💡

Sorry to hear Tommy opted out. I get it! But you guys definitely made a good team. Maybe he can check in once in a while? Either way, keep at it Clyde! I'm here to stay.
i am glad you explained about tommy and his new adventures ! i am glad to see you are not finished with your xj ! please post a link to the build thread on cherokee form, i did not see it i relocated gas tank in my xj, so nothing hangs down past the frame, but you loose some cargo room. i also turned the tank around 180 and put in a new fuel door on the right side. i used the old fuel door for my AC-OBA hookup for the rear and i might put 12 volt power plug there later.

Cracking a beer for Tommy! Looking forward to the topless xj build!
That's too bad about Tommy, he was one of those characters you couldn't write up if you tried. Keep up the good work on the vids! You are a natural presenter, I've enjoyed your stuff ever since I found the channel while working on a XJ I just recently got as my first car.

Wow, That's going back years now
I think it's just the bell housing from a dakota but otherwise an AX15 should bolt on/spline match and handle the power of that 5.2L
Won't be the same without tommy, still a great jeep and you guys made some amazing original videos. Will still stay with the channel but still hate the fact.
Hard for you to say Zee J? Keep up the good work. Good luck to Tommy. If he returns put him on. Looks like you've got some nice lighting there. I need more.

lol. I think he was trying to speak American. Every other English speaking country on the planet pronounces Z as "zed" not "zee".
safe travel Tommy. I'm very interested in the wiper mod since I need to replace mine more info would be great. and bring back the Cheers
Ford ranger or explorer will fit the Cherokee and give an additional 1" offset. That may solve your wheels or tire rubbing.
Great to see you pushing forward regardless.. I know it's always tough to continue the "magic" without the partnership.. Definitely keep the style of video. I sub to both the soap box and this channel. The format here is fantastic and I hope you can still get that funny, well edited feel. You got my support!.. do you have a patreon?
@PabstBoys
7 жыл бұрын
Well, Thanks Buddy!! I did do the Patreon thing for a short stint, but somehow it made me feel pressured to bang stuff out, and that folks who did help out were getting the short end of the stick compared to those who just watch for free. The monthly paid thing just puts unwanted pressure on my hobby. I was thinking about doing live streams on the other channel, so those who wanna throw in a one time "tip" via superchat, they can do that. I feel better about doing it that way.
I will miss Tommy but quick question where did you get that outside lunar visor for your jeep
YOOOOOO sick idea make it so you can put a wrangler soft top on it that would look dope af
Just found this channel. Tommy was great. Very funny guy.
Yes to video on the fenders.
Good luck to the channel and to Tommy

I'v got my work cut out for me
hello that such a friend, I am Mexican and I have a Jeep Cherokee 1989, what happens that my carb is very dirty but I do not know how to remove it, so you could make a video tutorial on how to remove and clean it? I would really appreciate it!
man, you hot to keep Tommy, make him as a cartoon as you habe done in past episodes as little inserts here and there. or not, whatever... love the videos
Tommy you will be very missed dude! Safe travels
Perfect timing. I finally pulled my 4.0l today... it's only been down a year and a half. Completely my fault, 183k miles... moving on. I'd like to see a manual swap. "New" engine came with a clutch and flywheel. Would you ever consider an import engine swap? Ford Barra 4.0l from Australia is what I was thinking :D Turbo, DOHC, still inline 6, no idea how to get that to work. In board rear suspension, since you do that welding thing?
@PabstBoys

I was considering a V6 TDi from a VW, but this engine fell on my lap.
@pgtmr2713

Glad you keep the engine crane within reach. I see the sensibility behind a diesel with the tq and all. I can also appreciate the probable discounts available when you put VW and diesel in the same sentence. Between those 2 I'd choose the 5.2l myself, the sound would be better I'm sure with the V8 and ease of install.
@PabstBoys

Oh, for sure, but I like to do things that nobody's done before. Headaches and all. LOL
@pgtmr2713
7 жыл бұрын
Well then how about a Merlin powered XJ, or twin engined XJ (no one liked the back seat anyway,) XJS Jeep with a Jaguar V12 How many rotors in a rotary do you need to get enough tq for off-roading, enquiring minds want to know? I'm all for seeing something high rippums and turbo charged, hence the Barra suggestion earlier.
got here from that royskilive stream. good stuff.

Never understood why the only Jeep since 1980 with a V8 was a ZJ. Besides the full sized Jeeps.
+1 for NC, and installing a 318! Can't wait.
Please respond to the rumor that some well, unsavory, pictures surfaced back when he was young and needed the work.
Damn wtf. I just got done explaining to my daughter about how things never stay the same. But maybe that's what makes you appreciate the times that you had.
