    @@MikeyVenture The part about Lilith comes from Jewish stories, where Lilith was made from the same dust as Adam and so saw herself as his equal, she refused to submit, left the garden and then they made Eve out of Adams rib so that she would be subservient. I'm not religious, so I'm kinda unfamiliar with the topic.. anyway even ancient Sumer had similar concept about heaven doing some crap and "devil" like.. helping people.. so I definitely like seeing something like this being the lore of the series.

    1. Katie Kiljoy is now voiced by Brandon Rogers, aka Blitzø! 2. Someone once postulated that the reason Alastor hates tv and glitches on screen is because he was a serial killer in his human life, and wanted to keep his face unknown to the public. So he stayed on the radio, that way people know who he was without being able to track him down.

    Alastor's Wendigo form is best thing on this show my favorite Asexual character. I love Lilith and Lucifer story something of this is even in demonology. Charlie and Vaggie are best couple. Lucifer (Fallen Angel of Pride), Satan (Devil of Wrath), Leviathan (Dragon of Envy), Asmodeus (Nephil of Lust), Mammon (Demon of Greed), Belphegor (Demon of Sloth), Beelzebub (Fallen Angel of Gluttony)

    The story about Lilith refusing to submit to Adam is pretty accurate, both made from the Earth, thus equals in every way but Adam still insisted he was above her, ordering her to "Lie beneath me, woman" Soooo she bounced and married Lucifer or a demon named Samael. Random fact: According to Sam Haft (one of this show’s song writers), Blake Roman went into his Angel Dust audition with no prior credits on anything. However, since that was likely a few years ago, he’s since had a credit in Helluva Boss as a Mariachi Imp, a Broadway show called “Harmony” as Chopin, and had one time appearance on CBS’s “Blue Bloods”. Edit: Also, the events of the pilot are canon, just not the designs.

    So there is actually a theory that the original genesis story had lilith as the first woman, made from earth as adam, but adam wanted to be dominant over lilith, she refused to let him on top of her when they made love which angered adam, he then complained to gods angels, who then told lilith if she wanted to stay in paradise she had to be subservient to adam so she left, thats why god made eve from adams rib, so she would be "lesser" than adam and he would rightfully be dominant over her. The theory also states the scrolls mentioning the original genesis were destroyed by the priests of the time to discourage women from believing that they are equal to men in gods eyes. Its quite interesting if you look into it...though its much darker than what ive put here (forewarning)

    Lilith was originally a Sanskrit and Mesopotamian goddess. The Israelites, Greeks, Romans and Persians had lots of political and religious tensions with India and Babylon at the time so they both literally and figuratively demonized their pantheons.

  • @tunessystem787
    @tunessystem7875 ай бұрын

    Lilith is actually part of the original biblical lore, though it’s a bit different than the show portrays it. First of all, the bible was made from a collection of manuscripts - it was not written all at once and regularly had things added to it for thousands of years. Different bibles in different parts of the world included different manuscripts. The manuscript talking about Eve dates 500-1,000 years before the manuscript with Lilith, so it was included in more versions of the bible than Lilith was. And when people finally decided to make the bible globally consistent, they had to choose which manuscripts to include and which to reject. Lilith’s manuscript was one of the ones that did not get included in the final cut. That’s why most people have not heard it - it’s in ancient versions of the bible, not current versions. So the story is that God created Adam and Lilith from the earth as equals, but they did not get along. Adam went to God for help because Lilith would not obey him. God decided that the arguments needed to stop and so one of the two had to have dominance over the other. Adam was the one who came for help, so Adam was allowed to stay in the garden while Lilith was instructed to leave so God could create Eve from Adam’s rib to ensure that she would always be subservient to Adam. Because Lilith refused to obey Adam, pop culture has deemed her a feminist symbol (though I don’t think it applies since she was never dominated by Adam in the first place - even God chose to send her away rather than give Adam power over her, so that doesn’t seem like a very feminist idea, since she had nothing to fight against, but ok). Lilith was sent from the garden specifically, but God still wanted her to stay in the land of Eden. So when she wandered too far, he sent some angels to bring her back. But instead the angels had sex with her (probably not consentual, but she still got the reputation of being a seductress). As a result, Lilith spawned an absurd number of demons (gaining her the title of mother of demons). I believe the angels were later cast out alongside Lucifer, but it’s unclear. Lilith was not permitted back into Eden.

    Fun fact!!: the story of Lilith in the Garden of Eden before Eve was there actually originates from Jewish folklore. There's no mention of her in the Bible because it's been edited and spliced so many times throughout the centuries by men in power (with an agenda might I add). And if you want to know more about the shit with Lucifer, I highly recommend checking out John Milton's "Paradise Lost". He was an author and poet who created an alternate interpretation of the Genesis story from the perspective of Lucifer. It's a sick fuckin read. Anyway, great commentary as always, love your vids

    Here's my belief of the angel situation. ESPECIALLY if Human Souls like 'Adam' can become "angels". I believe Heaven to be fake, with no right, rule, nor power to actually do anything. And everything we heard in the beginning is a lie. And instead, that Angels kill Sinners every year, because they knew if Sinner rose up, they could find and kill the Angels. As seen at the end of the episode, such a thing happened. The Angels are like a Slaver, controlling their slaves. Must Cull them every now and then to keep them weak and powerless to rebel.

    In my opinion you need a different type of editing for the source material. I understand copyright but when i watch a reaction video, i expect the full video with a reaction to it. No means to be a dick, just what i think.

    @@dodiswatchbobobo I saw one Angel, Adam, who is there because of prestige, and one of his lackeys being that. If you think minor character flaws are on par with mortal sins and the kind of vitriol we've seen from all the denizens of Hell, there's something wrong with you. Yeah, Angel Dust s*xually harasses men no matter how many times they tell him to leave them alone, but at least he's not sexist... Get real.
