In this video Driveway Dudes Will shows you where the fuse boards are in an Audi A3. No tools needed as you can use you car key to open the panel though it would be best to use a small screwdriver as you don't want to possibly damage your key. With the engine compartment fuse board you only have to slide the lock tabs to unlock the cover.
This model is a right hand drive 2008 8P model.
The fuse board may be in a similar place or opposite on other makes and models of the Volkswagen, Audi, Skoda, Seat group.
