I have missed your channel because you are one of the only ones who stay away from the “fear porn”. You are a class act. Hope to see you back, but understand you must do what is best for you. I will continue to go back to your old videos for reference! 😊Wish you all the best.

So glad you are back! Missed you :) I love your sense of organization and kit building. We need more positive channels like yours. I HATE fear porn and I am sad that so many prepping channels have went that direction. I was also sad that so many KZread viewers viewed these videos and often went down the conspiracy rabbit holes. We need to have channels that celebrate the joy in life while preparing for the unexpected as best as we can.

100% on the fear porn. Cough Canadian cough. Beyond the nonsense, it leads to people making poor financial decisions and eventually may well lead to worse preparedness as none of the previous 6000 apocalypses predicted in any given year don’t come to fruition.

Cliff glad to see you again. I love your videos and information you talk about. I know exactly what you mean. I have been feeling the fear big time. I know I need to step away and take a break. I prep but I don’t need to consume the fear 24/7. It’s so you you could take the break and actually talk about it. You saying how you felt and needed a break was really good to hear. I feel that will help a lot. Thank you. Take care and I look forward to watching your videos and less of the fear I feel I have to check in on daily which I have been doing. If we do what we need to do to prepare and get organise that’s great and that’s all we can do. ❤

So Happy your back!!!!! I totally relate to all you said in this video. I'm so glad you took time out for your mental health and your family. Both are very important. I don't watch the news anymore, I read it. It seems to not stress me out as much. I have encouraged all my family and friends to watch your videos since I started watching. 100% of them are now prepping. That's all because of you!! Thank You! Many other channels are so fear based that it turns people off. I can't tell you how much you've helped me just from the fact my family and friends are prepping now. I tend to want to take care of people so I worry when they are not prepared but now they are taking care of themselves so I don't worry about them. Yay!! Mrs Urban Prepper!!! Maybe she could do some videos with you?!! There are so few woman Preppers making videos. Would Love to see some Woman/Mom EDC video's. Some Video Ideas: I would love to see a video of why you have different phones and what kind you have. Altoids kits for kids. You inspired me to make Altoids 1st aid kits for the car for all my family this last Christmas. They LOVED them! Again, Thank You! Maybe a live stream of you and your wife talking about prepping as a couple. It might help those of us who have reluctant spouses. Flying/traveling with preps on vacation or for work. I love the idea of live stream interviews! Live stream on any topic is fun and informative!! And best of all it's less work for you. As many people have said, It's great to see you!

I just want to comment on a few parts of the first 15 minutes of this video. You mentioned a video "fell on his face" oh, I remember that video and it was done very well but here's the thing.. I've noticed a lot of KZread content makers seemed to blame the video they made and all their hard work or themselves for a video not doing well in getting lots of used or lots of likes whatever metric they measure it by. But that is not the case! Many times people are distracted by world events or something going on on a weekend or possibly a competing KZread channel or even this guy who work for KZread named Al Go-rhythms and any of those or a combination of those can make a great video and all your hard work seem not to pay off. But it's just like doing great work at a job and not being noticed for it and other times you get noticed for things that you don't work hard on. There's just such a randomness to what becomes a hit/popular that I wish all KZread content makers would realize that they should never blame themselves. Just try to do good content and move on. My last thought is that from what you've explained it sounds like you made the exact right decision, both for you and for your viewers. We were all getting Overexposed to the fear push in the mainstream media and everywhere else. Thank you for not making videos when you didn't think it was right for you at that time. We all know that fear based news gets the attention more than helpful tips, even though we all wish that wasn't true. So thank you for what you did before and thank you for not making videos and thank you for coming and explaining your choice. You did the right thing.

Thank you so much for the detailed comment! Yeah, the KZread Studio Dashboard can really make you question yourself when it talks about how a certain video is not popular with your audience. I'm just going to stop looking at things like that.

Good to hear from you again Cliff. I have missed your goodnatured videos about what can happens in real life. like fires, floods and earthquakes, and all your EDC videos. I also like that your channel is not a gunshow, it is fitting for us who living in countries where guns are not so easy to own.

I get it and I respect you more for not doing more videos. I see all the "fear porn" and dislike it immensely. Being prepared is a mindset, we cannot control what happens in the world whether it be natural or man made and folks trading on the topics like preparedness and edc is a turn off. I think it is important to live in the moment, glad you were redirect that energy back into your family. Glad you checked in on this channel, I was wondering a couple of weeks ago what happened to you.

👋😁Hey nice to see you! Yeah I kind just did the same on my channel recently. I've taken a break, not sure if I'll come back. It's tough sometimes putting out content you hope people will enjoy and trying to keep up with changes and stay relevant but also ahead of the curve. Stay safe man😎👍

Nice to see you again. You are one of the first prepper channels that got me more serious for survival. I'm one of those that have become very fearful of a ww3 coming soon. Although I'm considerably poor, I have thousands of dollars on prepping I wonder if I'm crazy and why some people aren't worried at all. I hope to see you make some new videos soon. Thank you

This is what they call a Digital CLEANSE. I'm glad you're feeling better. I have to say it: I HATE the 'Current Events' fear-orn genre. I watch prepping and homesteading channels because I want to LEARN about prepping and homesteading. I want to see preppers teaching about how they prep and what they do with what they have and what they have and how to use them and what they plan to do with them etc. I've learned about EDC gear, BOB gear, and the differences between GHB and INCH bag and their philosophies. I'm learning about pantry organization and stocking up and rotation. (I need more PDFs!) I feel like I still have much more to learn... but because of the current-events-fear-porn TREND, I've run out of real teachers. (Including some of the guys I've counted on for rational sanity, such as City Prepping.) IF you have a whole new system of organization, I want to hear about it so I can decide if I want to learn about that. Does this work in conjunction with the Colors of Prepping? Is it a new-and-improved CoP system? Or totally new and different? You got a lotta esplainin' to do. I'll add on to your list of video ideas. Now that your wife is canning... you've got to design and build a new set of pantry shelves, with an eye toward (a) fitting canning jars neatly... (b) easy Inventory... and (c) EASY FIFO food rotation. AND make the Wife happy. LOL I'm looking forward to that video.

Glad that you are doing ok...... missed you. I love the way you do and have done your channel! I liked your attention to detail and organization skills..... yes, some would say your CDO---- [gotta have it in alphabetical order. ;] I am and have been well pleased with your LACK of fear porn..... Many of the other channels that went the way of FEAR PORN I have lost interest in.... I am also of the opinion that most of your stuff is EVER GREEN, good basic information. FAMILY time does have to come first... PS I started prepping in the 70s and teaching it while in the military up to now..... I typically DO get some modern ideas from you and at least another prospective on things...... KEEP keeping it REAL..... THX for what you do
