Where Is The Best Place To See The Milky Way? | Cosmic Vistas | Spark

Ғылым және технология

This week on Cosmic Vistas - The Atacama desert is a perfect place for watching the night sky. With still winds and only a handful of cloudy nights each year, it allows scientists to get the absolute most out of their tools.
-
Thanks to the invention of spaceflight, the drive to explore are leading us upward and outward - off of our own planet and out into the solar system where a host of alien worlds offers us vast new terrain to uncover. This visually breath-taking series offers a new perspective on our solar system. Through beautiful HD imagery, audiences will not only be taken to places they have never been to, but they will get an immersive experience of places they could never go.

its literally my birthday wish to go to a place like this, our creator is amazing, and would love to see it. We've polluted the earth so much that we can only count to like 20. I can rarely see any stars at all now-a-days. It's sad :(

No. Atacama receives a mere 1mm of precipitation per year. Antarctica gets something closer to 160mm.
