My graduating class of ~80 had one person go to an Ivy League (Harvard). My high school was in Georgia and like 50% of the class went to UGA and 50% went to Georgia Southern lol

itsmelexie1 looking at this video as someone with college experience makes me laugh 😂 about this h.s students. No one talks about real stuff. They act like they going to a utopian land 😂. Most of the colleges they mention I think are private I feel bad for their parents. And bet the same major is offered in the city they live, in a public college. Some students mentioned so useless majors.

ur school is so different from mine! most people from my school just wanna go to ut austin, atm college station or uh. no one really applies out of state, especially because it's cheaper in state and a lot of people just get auto admission for being top 10%. i know one kid whos going to cornell, one for michigan and another whos going in florida but i don't know a whole lot more. no ones going in california:(( i wanna go there so bad. also, congratulations to all of your friends and classmates!!

Why would they? My dad made me move from New York to Texas by myself this year so that I get Texas residency in time for college lol. I’m living without my parents and siblings at 16 to go to Texas college.

I’m from Texas too so I totally understand! Many of my classmates are going in state and I’m the only one of my friends who’s going out of state (to Lehigh University)! I think what many Texans don’t know is that private schools give out much more scholarships and financial aid than public schools which is sad

I want to say this, plain and simple. If you are going to a top college, either Ivy or just a top school that costs somewhat a decent amount. I think you should at major in a degree that is known to be successful. My advice is don’t go to an expensive college if your major isn’t as price-worthy as the college is.
