I truly believe that RM didn't make this album for anybody but himself. To clear his mind, heart and soul. So I am not surprised that 'ARMY's' might not listen to it because honestly speaking, this is one thought provoking album and it will not be everyone's cup of tea because it's totally different from the K-Pop norm. Absolutely love the album🎉🎉🎉

The low views are frustrating... I think... honestly? A lot of fans have never shown up for RM in general because his music is less 'accessible', it's more experimental and challenging, he goes for a less glamourous or dramatic image, and that just isn't for everyone. Especially this album is really out there style-wise. I mean I LOVE it, this is 1000% my kind of music, but I can understand if someone became an ARMY for songs like Dynamite, Butter, DNA, Boy With Luv etc. then this might not be for them. I've also noticed if a video doesn't actually have BTS members in it the views are always much lower... so I guess some people say they're here for music but in fact visuals are a big part of it for them. Finally, to give people the benefit of the doubt, there were 5 music videos released in a row, and this one didn't have a trailer or much promotion at all, so some people may not even know it's out? Even the likes are much lower than his other videos which means a lot of people haven't even watched it once. Overall, I think Namjoon knew this album wasn't going to be for everyone and he doesn't care, he's making music for the people who can handle his vibe, and he's also reaching out to new audiences. RPWP was successful as an album, hitting the top 5 overall and #1 in rap albums. He got his highest charting position in the UK so far, and I think he's been specifically targeting the UK alternative scene with his marketing, not to mention recording the album there, so I'm happy that paid off! Nonetheless, let's spread the word and make sure people who haven't heard this yet get to hear it! Fighting ARMY!!!

Domodachi = uses 2 Japanesen words : domo = thanks and tomodachi = friends.... So mashed up together for this artistic title it might mean something like "thanks friends" 🤔

Thought the title being in Japanese fits the Album theme /title very well "right person, wrong place" as it sticks out as it's neither Korean nor English but suddenly Japanese as if it's at the wrong place /feels like being a "stranger" in the album. Anyways I am rambling here haha have a nice day :)

lol for your question: Yes I think this is the first song with mf-er as the first word BUT there's another song with it in the first line, and it's actually their first anniversary song 'So 4 More' (which is highkey an adorable nostalgic song/video that everyone should check out). I remember when I was first getting into BTS way back when, I'd heard a couple of songs and decided to check out their channel - one of the recent videos was their first anniversary song so I clicked it expecting a super-sentimental cutesy ballad like every other kpop group I'd heard... then the first thing I hear is RM yelling into the mic "it's been a year... it's been a MUTHAFUCKIN YEEEARR" and I was like "what is happening??? I need to know everything about this group." So that word was actually a big part of my descent down the rabbit hole 😂

I agree. RM produce thought provoking music. It might not appeal to the younger fans, who do not understand the art, the skill full changes of the beats, the mixes and flows in RM album. The entire album is a masterpiece. Should be album of the year.

People put too much pressure on RM, and have been doing so for the past 11 years since he was just out of high school and was chosen as the leader of BTS. You can imagine being the leader of the first korean group to ever break the glass ceiling of the western music industry (having to represent the group in his second language with no professional training), the only korean group capable of monetarily rival SamSung and Hyundai, of creating thousands of jobs with a single song, being asked to become ambassador for their country, giving speeches at the UN, white house....he's full of it, it's been too much on him for too long. This album is him letting it all out. Domo means thank you Tomodachi means friend Domodachi can be written in Japanese with an added “ to the first character which implies “fake friend” which makes sense with his verses on the song In the chorus, however, when he is inviting his friends to dance and celebrate the word in Japanese used is tomodachi, so he’s only asking real ones to be with him in his triumphs Little Simz verse is also abt a real friendship Lastly, tomodachi when written in Hangul (Korean alphabet) is pronounced Domodachi and it just means friend Armys have been theorizing abt this since release day, and it’s hard to say exactly what his thought process was, be rest assured that there’s method to the madness Also, Little Simz has a great song called Venom that RM shared last year on his IG Pls react to the song Around the World in a Day from the album
