The leaders in Palestine and Gaza have kept themselves happy, healthy and free from harm in surrounding islamic countries that won't help out their muslim brothers and sisters in Palestine and Gaza. They refuse to take them in as refugees and refuse to give them food and water and medical help. Jesus died for us, but muslims die for their "leaders" who won't lift a finger to help them and who won't raise the white flag to stop the killing. It's disgusting!

This is the reason why I've chosen to learn about Islam and read the Quran. I am in awe of the Palestinian people, their strength, and faith. They never question their belief that Allah has their back while being subjected to the most vile atrociites a people can bear. Amazing. My agnosticism has been challenged. I want to know more.

I went into severe depression since the war started, and buy the end of December I lost my job. Because I couldn’t barely function.. I have recurring depressive disorder.. i work in social media, my parents tell me dont watch videos from Gaza.. I have friends who have not stopped protesting and posting , so occasionally i go n support their efforts.. but when u have medical condition like me.. when your body doesn’t produce seretonine and then u lose your job.. u start questioning where is allah .. I am so grateful to Shaykh for this talk because it restored my faith.. I kept thinking where is allah.. I am sorry my iman is weak.. but I m trying.. don’t hate please

Allah is so merciful. He loves you more than 70 mothers. Your Iman is not weak. The fact that Gaza affected you in this way shows the love you have for your brothers and sisters in Islam. Keep praying to Allah SWT. Keep that dialogue open. May Allah SWT bless you with everything good in deen and duniya.

I grew up so distant from Islamic scholars who all looked the same, long beards - shouting at the TV that all is haram. I have since found a scholar who actually inspires me, and shows me the true beauty of Islam. Thank you truly Imam Omar Suleiman. Truly a breath of fresh air🙏🏼 May Allah shower blessings over you for all the good you do; for those that you guide back to Islam and the platform you use for good. Ameen.

Same here.... my tears were flowing with grief, but now when I read the 4th ayat in al Fatihah "Master of the Day of Judgement", it is such a comfort.

I watch Al Jazeera and am amazed at the patience and resilience of the Palestinians. This can only come from deep faith and trust in God

I am half black, half white from a rural part of New York where I had never even talked to a Muslim before I took my Shahada. This was almost a month ago and your videos gave me great certainty that I was making the right decision. My Iman has become weak during these past few months. I’m ashamed and I pray to Allah SWT revive me back in a better and stronger state of Iman. This dunya has broken my heart in a Million pieces seeing my ummah suffering is extremely heartbreak, but seeing the Muslim leaders Turning the other cheek is pure disappointment. ( I remind myself this is a test not only for me but for them for everyone .. this is a mere test of our Iman. If God wills, we find Islam of Abrahamic Monotheism and Creed, not corrupted Hadiths of Abu Huraira et al. Please show me just one authentic hadith or even quranic verse where Allah demands us to sacrifice civilian lifes just for the sake of fighting? All prophets were shepherds and learned to care for the innocent. Rasul Allah sas always cared for the safety of his ummah. Warmongering in vain is the complete opposite to that.

Yes he should! While youtube does have auto-captioning, it doesn't understand a single world of Arabic! Every word of prayer and every great name he said was completely missed in the subtitles. This is a huge loss. For deaf people, as well as people like me who are new. Being able to read the Arabic would have helped with my comprehension as well as allowed me to do my own research and read these stories myself, look up the verses in the Qur'an. Please, Yaqueen Institute, please do subtitles!

Thank you I was going through something and this is from Allah that HE made me listen to this khutbah. I am revived

Duʿa for the Poor & Needy اَللّٰهُمَّ إِنَّهُمْ حُفَاةٌ فَاحْمِلْهُمُ ، اَللّٰهُمَّ إِنَّهُمْ عُرَاةٌ فَاكْسُهُمُ ، اَللّٰهُمَّ إِنَّهُمْ جِيَاعٌ فَأَشْبِعْهُمْ Allāhumma innahūm hufatūn fahmilhumu, Allāhumma innahūm urātūn fakhsuhūmu, Allāhumma innahūm jiyaūn fa'ashbihum O Allah, they are on foot, provide a mount for them. O Allah, they are naked, clothe them. O Allah, they are hungry, provide food for them. (Abū Dāwūd)

Alhamdulillah, subhanaallah. What a timely reminder from our beloved sheikh. We know Allah is close to us when we call on him. Allah protect our beloved sheikhs all over the world who are guiding the ummah in this difficult time.

Ameen. This is such a hopeful khutbah. The people of Palestine have shown us what true iman is.

Don't say where is Allah. Allah is always there. Allah's victory will come when Allah wills. He knows best. When and where is His will. He knows when.

Alhamdulillah. This made so many changes in our way of thinking and accepting this situation. About Imam Omar Suleiman...🤍You are a gem sir. May Allah SWT bless you in this dunya and akhirah and grant you among the highest of positions in Jannah. Aameen

I am one of those that havw continously been asking oh Allah where are you as I watch on a daily basis the suffering of our brothers and sisters, our mothers and fathers dying in their thousands.. And this talk has absolutely helped, I feel somewhat revived.. May Allah forgive me for questioning and I make dua for a swift end to the G that is happening in front of our eyes, and I pray our leaders wake up soon..
