Omg im so in love with your haul def going to be looking into going to estate sales now I thrift alot but the prices are just too much I always go when I can score half off days. You have found amazing things I am headed over to follow all other social media accounts I can watch your hauls all day long. Thanks for sharing cant wait to see what your junk journals have in them. Im like a kid in the candy store over vintage books and magazines. I just started junk journaling and really want more vintage stuff to add to my collection. That was one of my fav videos you’ve ever posted! It’s always good to know that other people buy things just because their heart and mind said “Tiny container with tiny playing cards. Yes! You must purchase them and ask no more questions.” I have literally piles of items like that that I know I will use somehow someday. I’m not sure when that someday is, but its a real thing. I promise.

Those small playing cards I would put glossy accents and place on book charms.

I use those tiny cards as dangles inside journals! I take two cards, put a string in the middle and a bit of glue to keep the cards together around the string.

LEAH, THIS IS A GREAT HAUL! I cannot wait for summer to get to some estate sales on the first day, I. normally cannot go during the week because I work in a school. There is so much I love, I was a HUGE Shirley Temple fan as a child, I always wanted a certain doll. I already found and purchase that book on Thriftbooks lol The Three Railway Engines is the very beginning of Thomas the Tank Engine books and shows! My daughter loved Thomas when she was little, if you are considering putting that in your shop, I would snatch it up! Thanks for sharing this wonderful haul!

oh Karen that is so sweet!! I love it too, my Hannah used to collect Thomas, she loved snaking the trains are throughout the house! I actually wish I would have kept them all😭

You found so many amazing things. I especially love the vintage trims you found. Wish we had estate sales in the UK but we don’t unfortunately.

I don’t usually comment but I just had to when I saw the “vintage” fairy tale book. I remember it! I had that when I was a kid! I read it over and over! I hadn’t thought of it in a long time. I loved that book! I wonder whatever happened to it! Lol. Love everything you got. Thanks for sharing. 😊❤️

Sorry! One more thing…those tiny cards…they were in ten cent machines when I was a kid. I managed to get a set! Loved those too! So tiny and cute! 😊❤️

Vicki, I was a child of the late 50’s and early 60’s. I had some of those tiny cards too. I had tiny dominos made from bone too. Great memories.

Awww thanks friend! There’s almost always a line at the beginning of the day so I usually wait until the sale has been open for at least a couple of hours on any given day. Usually by then you don’t have to wait, you can just walk right in😊

Yes, I do recommend bringing cash, although more and more I see that estate sales are accepting Venmo and Zelle. Some do take cards but they might charge a fee.

I would buy some of your pins. I seek them out. The cheap chinese pins are worthless, in my opinion.
