I don't know about bleeding but yeah! our vedic culture perfectly explains why girls should not visit temples during periods. Lemme have a try to explain:- during periods, the flow of blood is from higher level(uterus) to lower level(vagina). When we visit temple, we feel extremely good bcz of the flow of energy from the temple floor inside our body which is from lower to upper side. So, if females visit temple during their periods, the energy flow may disturb the menstural cycle causing painful periods or irregular periods or something else. This is one of the very reason... Sorry if any mistake is there. But yeah! Jab prem aapni parakastha pe pahuch jaye tb materialistic banners se kuch nhi hota...i.e. sabri. But hm to unki charan dhool v nhi hai. So better we avoid visiting temples. But agr bahaut jyada he prabal iccha ho rhe ho Krishna ko dekhne ki tb ye sb na socho, chale jao bas. 😁 Hare Kṛṣṇa!

Let us leave biology aside as stupidd science. Let us talk about God - God made man and women, God decided that the female would bear child and have menstruation and God didn't make any other rules. Man made temple in the name of God and then he made rules in name of God but nowhere has God said these false rules that you state. Also it is nowhere written in vedas that menstruating females cannot worship. So keep your false statement to your falsehood.

I've listened so many male priests, devotees & gurus telling women to stay away from shri krishna or any god in periods...but I worships him even in periods he never ever been angry on me and I'm telling you I'm his one of the most happiest devotee...he even gets happy more than I think...bcoz I'm worshiping him even when I'm weak, that's why he always calls me to vrindavan barsana once in a month...and fulfils my every need before I tell about it... these are just human made rules sorry! I can't follow..and my love for him is beyond this human body and rules...I love you shri radhe krishna❤

Periods is a natural process that occurs in females and it is given by Lord Krishna himself, then who can say that the girls are impure. It is Lord Krishna's creation. No one can say that ladies are impure. These are the ideas of this patriarchal society. Thus, period blood is not impure rather it is the most important element on Earth. And Bhakti on God or Goddess doesn't require or cost you anything other then pure love and respect to them.

Prabhuji is not saying that girls are impure while periods rather he is saying that anyone who is not cleaned physically which is purely hygiene can't offer our body to Krishna. (I'm using my father's account) Brother the point is to cover the area where there is blood and taking care of yourself and then conducting the puja. Don't people do puja or go to mandir after putting on a bandage in the place of wound? Same case for us girls too. In olden days women were using clothes on their period which is dangerous for her health and not good for her not to take rest and do a lot of work in Mandir. Her blood might leak through her cotton saree and she'll not feel good about it herself. But now we use tampons and menstrual cup which makes us fee light and good. We carry out all the works very easily. So when a sane person feels comfortable, it's all fine to carry out the puja and procedure in Mandir. Hare Krishna 🙏🏼❤️

During Periods the body becomes prone to catch infections bcz when the blood comes out, it remains in the sanitary pads that attracts bacteria.... Menstruation is not impure but the blood which is excreted is .... Any liquid that is excreted from the body by any means considered as waste.... Spiritually pooja kro .. but there is nothing wrong if we avoid certain things for few days...

Period bleeding is not considered as an impurity. It is the most pure thing in the world. Every human being is born out of it.. so when the women are on periods they are most pure. In early days pads and tampons were not there. So may be some hygiene questions were there. If Bhakti Yoga is based on submission with love- then trust me God will accept everyone in every form.

there are 2 kind of women I met first who believes that we should go to temple during the period and they never been to temple in their adult life i.e. Nastik and second who believes that we should not go during periods and who either occasionally or daily visits to temple i.e. aastik. it's individual decision, nobody is checking you, that you are in your periods or not.

When women experience periods, the Apān Vāyu of the body starts flowing from upper to lower chakras which is generally not normal. But in temples, due to regular chanting of mantras, the energy is very high and therefore it provokes "Prān Vāyu or Energy to flow from lower to upper chakras from Muladhara to Sahasrar . When women in period visits temple these two forces collides with extreme force. Power of mantras should not be taken for granted. The energy of the deity and the temple itself is so high that it can result in more menstrual pain, and to the extent of even heart attack for the lady. It can also disbalance all the chakras of the body so impactfully that the person can go insane if the energy of the temple is so much high. That's the serious scientific point. In the earlier era, women had majorly two task, cooking and worshiping at home mandir, imagine if these rules were not made, the kalyuga sasurals would force her to do these tedious tasks when she is suffering from all that pain. I don't think so because there are many occasions when I'm very excited for the Puja in my house because i will be decorating the pravu and the tample , will be making Prasad for everyone ( which I like the most to do) and will be praying and singing Bajan with everyone but just because I'm on my period I am not allowed to do that not just that i also have to see all the Puja from far away .. which is heartbreaking ...i myself have cryied many times because I get my period on a puja And I will be treated like a criminal who can't do anything 😔....no one can understand this fealing expect girl's and secondly no were .. literally no where in our vedas it is written to do so...but the fact is it started because in past puja was not this easy everything was made from scratch and even home water was not used , water was taken from a holy river... so simply doing so much while bleeding and being in pain was very unfair for anyone so women was told to please rest don't do any thing so they don't have anymore hardship expect which they are already going through not because it "asud" . So for now a days when all the things are not that hard so women should do any puja if they want to and if they are not in pain.

You are correct but stating that it is no where mentioned in ved and that too Adhering with this fact is totally showing your Zero knowledge. You yourself haven't read ved once but saying it is not mentioned is totally wrong. 😂 No, you are under the clutches of nature and natural complexities. Nothing is whimsical or within individual choice ! You ought to obey the principles and regulation of the divine vedic injunction. It is Veda that informs about Bhagawan and all. So, what Vedic texts say that's Dharma. And that Dharma is established by the Bhagawan Himself "dharmam tu shakshad bhagawat pranitam" ! It is God and the representative authorities of God established that principle what to do what not to do. If you do something against the principles established by God, then that will effect the entire surrounding. It's not that as you like you do. Nobody is forcing to get entry inside the temple to perform your puja. Lord says in unfavourable circumstances need not to go to the temple, just remain at your place. This much luxury us given to you. Still you are getting pleasure to break the rules means you must be an obnoxious kind of person...😮

Sanatana dharma has given so many choices, but simultaneously you cannot commit offenses. You must not take the disadvantage of that liberty ! Sanatan dharma also gives you the liberty to meditate upon the Lord who is within your heart as paramatma aspect ! In menstrual condition why a lady should violate the principles and create disturbances ?? Impurity means you has to be cautious within certain obligation. Of course the do and dont's were established by the divine personalities representing the Supreme authority Bhagawan. You must not disobey it. You must have honour towards it.

The first and foremost condition in Sanatana dharma is be humble, be gentle, be pious and "do not violate the Vedic principles" for your own self interest. Never dishonour the verdict of the divine authority....Just be with it.

Think it in this way. If blood is outside the body, exposed to this atmosphere, what happens to the blood, will it attract bacteria or not? So there comes the point of hygiene. If blood drops fall on the floor, you get all the insects or flies attracted to it and it gives some smell. So again here hygiene comes. right? This is what he meant. Now don't tell me it should be accepted. Why should we accept it. Acknowledgement is fine but not acceptance into mandirs. It's better to keep energies separate and also pure places to be pure and hygiene. So that it don't disturb the clean environment in mandir

I don't know about this topic very well but I will just try to explain... So,I heard it somewhere that in early days,there were no pads so girls used some kind of old cloth which was not stuck well so if it moved,blood would fall somewhere on the ground and the Mandir would be dirty that's why this rule was made. Another thing could have happened,that in early days,the mandir's stairs were very long and high,so if girls would climb up the stairs,it could lead to a very amount of cramps.

There is more scientific reason , I think it's mentioned in Sushrut samhita....as women are asked not to bathe during this period, as it causes imbalance of pitta, so unbathed we never go to temples....I might be not 100% correct, but something is definitely there very scientific

It written in all the three bruhatrayi. We are just asked to totally rest. As for the first 3 days women bleed heavily and there are many factors related to the bathing, I guess I’d have to read the commentaries to understand better the reason why but it could be the reason that bathing will increase vata and as vata is already prakupita during the bleeding, it can cause vatika disorder and can abrupt the chance to get pregnant.

During periods the flow of blood is from higher level to lower level . When we visit temple,we feel extremely good bcz of flow of energy From the temple floor inside our body which is from lower to upper side so if female visit temple during their periods,the energy flow may Disturb the menstrual cycle causing painful periods or irregular periods or something else...

Kamakhya mandir me ambubasi mela ke time matarani ki menstruation hoti hai. Toh 5 days haar saal dwar bandh kar diya jata hai, kyuki matarani rest lete hai tab. Jitne sadhu sant hote hai wo bahar se dhyan karte hai mata ke. Yuhi baat mat pelo idhar.

Are you assuming womén (female homo sapiens) and goddess to be same entity? 🤦🏻‍♂️ Have you ever seen any of the male devotees of Lord Sri Krishna equating themselves with the Supreme personality of Godhead Krishna? If not, then why are doing such mistake?

Reason is for pooja we need stand or sit for a longer time to finish the process. A women during her periods already tired so in olden days she was aked to take rest in a calm place inside the house. That's why we were not allowed to lift heavy things or travel long or strain. But as years passed they are treating this as a dirty or nasty thing. Without this nature process a women can't give the next generation in a natural way. Sir, if God is going to punish a women for periods. There are plenty of criminal, vulgar things happening against small kids who is going to give punishment for that.

Cut and periods aren't same. If period blood makes a woman impure than she can never be pure. In fact enture human population is birn out of impurity. There is even a temple called kamakhya temple built for this same impurity. The iskcon temples are runned by all men and women aren't even allowed to hold high positions. What will u say about that? Stop being brainwashed by these narratives. Any woman with self respect will never visit temples when they see her impure during periods. If u still agree with that then i am sorry to say that u have no self respect

We r talking about women not being allowed to go to temple during periods in some religion, but in another women are not allowed only to go to mosque irrespective of periods or no periods and that's a huge gender bias which has no scientific explanation🥺

I don't know why some people in the comments are bashing some girls for going to temples during their period. I know there's a scientific reason behind it and blah blah but if she doesn't have any problem workshiping the god during her period then why should you? I mean, it's non of your business to say if she should go or not and if that's something that is punishable then the god themselves will punish the girl for that and not you. Cause afterall we believe in Karma, right? RIGHT? And for those who are saying that period is something really "impure" and all, Do you know that there's literally a temple that workships menstruation? It's the Maa Kamakhya Temple in Guwahati. Even in 4 of our vedas non of them mention that a woman is impure or cannot go to temples during periods nor they restricted women doing pooja's during their cycle. So, idk why some people are making such a big issue out of it and calling people naastik just because they have different beliefs than them. And anyways, god is not always in temples but within ourselves and he'll always love us no matter who we are or whatever that we're going through so, I don't really care about going to temple during periods.

I live in Kathmandu, Nepal. I've visited Pashupatinath temple multiple times during menstruation. Nothing has happened. I think God is kind to me because I consider God the only creator of rules. I believe that my legs would get numb naturally if God doesn't want me to go near to them. So I'm a true believer unlike you all who create rules and consider themselves God. God loves me❤

Hindu people believe menstruating women are so pure that they're 'worshipped' as a 'living goddess' during that time of the month, and therefore a menstruating woman cannot enter a temple as her energy will attract that of the murti, and the murti will become lifeless. To all those people who think periods are impure. It was never impure. Unhygienic sure- when there weren't pads, tampons or menstrual cups. But now we know how to maintain hygeine. So periods aren't impure. It's actually opposite

Kisne kaha ki ye rules hamne banaye h. Our shastra are called paurushay which means our shastra is none other than paramaatma himself. Ved is the vani of Hari and so upnishads and Puranas are itself written by Hari avatar(Vedvyaas ji maharaj) Even eggs are programmed by God does that makes it pure. No right!

Periods are not impure but there are six chakras in our body . When you go to temple during periods then the chakra in your belly point gets activate.during periods body is weak to take that pressure and God doesn't want their devotee to feel that pain . I am ex Christian and can relate to this.

​@@officialtom2 I am a hindu and I have never heard about all about this . There are MANY girls who go to temple when they have their periods and nothing happens to them . Its all about your belief if you don't want to go to temple during period don't go . If you want to go to temple then go .

​@@anjanadevnath2471 they just go to temple clap their hands and come back lol They never chant mantras (ofcourse not all) or they take rounds of sacred tress + the big Prasad lines nor they pay attention and small things compound and gives results in future no matter good or bad and also try to do whatever I said over here on periods Anand then say you where comfortable I am not being rude here but harsh reality of our generation kids

@@anjanadevnath2471 Noone is stopping you from going to temple to offer prayers. People here are saying that you cannot touch the deity during periods. You have to worship God from a distance without touching his idol. And this rule is applicable for all genders.

I think its the opinion of different people that's being imposed on women. There's no scripture that mentions that women are not allowed inside temples during periods. And those saying about those flow of energies... Kya 5 min mandir jane se itni tabiyat kharab ho jayegi? And the real question is... If we aren't allowed because of "science of energies" then we should def be able to read holy books...

I believe we should love krishna from our heart and being on periods or not doesn't matter. It's a free will if you wanna go to temple during ur periods or not. And I know krishna can never ever even feel bad cuz of this thing. Main reason is hygiene. Earlier people thought periods as impure due to lack mentality and knowledge. But today, we all are well aware that it's a very natural process and having it can't stop any girl if she wishes to go to a temple... Good hygiene is important for devotional activities but good heart is a must ❤ Woh tan mela kapda na dekhe, par dil dekhe hai zarur.... Hare krishna ❤ Radhe Radhe ❤

Ok we let that women shouldn't go into temples during periods because of flow of energy from low to high. Then are we expected not to pray 7 days a week??!! Because even in that sense we do worship so energy also flows from low to high!!!

Aurto ka periods kabhi impure ho hi nahi sakta. As they say little learning is a dangerous thing. You are saying periods are impure and should not be allowed in temples but there literally temples MADE for menstruating devis (Kamakhya)😂😂 Isiliye kehte hai hamare riti kam andhbiswas jyada hai.
