Warrior cats was *the* thing in my primary school (7-ish years ago). I went to see the original author and got my one of my books signed. I kinda stopped with it when I got into GCSEs, but I always wanted to see an animated series and now it's finally happening! No one asked, but thank god you told me or I never would've known. I actually get my fur from ‘Emma bears fur addiction’! Since it’s free shipping and under $30 lol. It ships really quickly! Great quality fur! They also sell other stuff like stuffed toy patterns, resin eyes, and a few more things I think? Recommended to any Australians nearby lol :D tho there isn’t as many options of fur as some of the other ones mentioned in this video, good to get your fur from as a starter! :D

Oh! I didn't know you liked warrior cats! I just go to a fabric shop near me for furs. Thats just because I don't have to pay for shipping plus they have lots of sales! Thanks for the video though! Ill deafanitly use it if I ever need to buy fur online!

I actually met Big Z Fabrics at Further Confusion 2020 at their booth! Great for the price per yard, highly recommend their arctic fox as it's comparable to howl deluxe fox for a lower price point! They also carry some great minky + scuba knit there as well, perfect all in one spot for fabric if you're not needing a big selection of fox or teddy furs.

fursuit supplies surprised me, i didnt expect to find cheap paws and all of that. I'll definetely use that!

I loved Warrior Cats growing up! It's kinda fallen off my radar a bit, but my sister and I own all six books of the first arc. Also thanks for sharing your fur store websites in the description, I knew I wanted to go hunting for fursuit-quality fur for my own characters (idk if I'm a literal furry or just furry-adjacent) but didn't know where to start looking for relatively cheap fur and haven't had the time to go looking anyway.

Tried my first fursuit with Spotlight fur, (it was the grey foxtail) it's just not the same. It had pretty colours along it's length but once you shave it down it's just a monotone grey which isn't as durable as proper fursuit fur and was pretty expensive.

In my experience, spotlight has some alright-ish furs, (one specific type of fur, it's like 1cm long so it's not ideal for most parts of a fursuit other than the face and paws) it doesn't come in a whole lot of colours but i used it on my first fursuit. From what I've seen of its colour range, I've bought it as mauve and dark grey, and I've also seen white, mint and medium grey in different spotlights. So if you like pastels and greys for your fursuit face abd paws (or you're fine with short fur in general) id reccomend it? It was like. $20-$25aud a metre i think

I’ve been getting all my fur from bartfeld and it’s so annoying that everyone is finding out about it cuz all the furs I need are out of stock all the time

Sadly I live somewhere in Europe and the shipping prices are HIGH! There are no fur Shops around here, so that's gonna be expensive.

Hello! I'm making a faun leg project for this year's Halloween and I've no idea what I'm doing and I was hoping you would be able to answer a few questions I have. For the past few days I've been collecting research and advice from other content creators and suit makers such as yourself. I'm still looking and doing my best to understand everything before I really dig my hands into the making process of these legs. Out of my gathered research, many suggested making a DTD to help with the process as well as researching the anatomy of the faun so I can get that desired shape. Would using a DTD be beneficial? I was also curious as to what type of foam I should use. Currently, I've found in my home a roll of 1-inch foam that came from Michael's and I was curious if that sort of foam would work? For now, these are all the questions I have but any more additional guidance is greatly appreciated from you and other commenters! Thank you :)

Hello! I know this queston was meant for Skye, but just letting u know i use 1 inch foam for my fursuits and it works fine, although im not familiar with other ppls strategies

i really like howl and z's furs but i don't live in us so the shipping prices double or quadruple the price. i've seen like 500$ shipping from bigz while trying to calculate money. i get my characters are colorful but what?? i'll probably save up for it but i just wish there was an eu centric fur supplier man 😵

I work and spotlight and I don’t know where they hell they get anything. Only the good quality things are the big brands. We got in Halloween and Christmas stuff and all of it falls apart before people even buy it…

omg i wasnt on my chromebook for a few days and am late to comment on this but omgggg i still live for warrior cats and yesterday literally finished my OC, JayFlight, whos a she-cat warrior. And i havent checked out any of that yet owo my apologies for being a bad warrior cats fan ;-;

i saw a furry at comicon yesterday, i’m so glad that comicon is just a place where furries, geeks, nerds, they’re all accepted.

I bought my fur from spotlight in NZ and I can confirm- was expensive considering the quality, and their was no long fur, I ended up getting one that’s kinda?? Ribbed?? Eughjf. I’m still going to use it up on my second suit but yeah, not the best

Do i need to wear a mask/respirator when shaving fake fur and how do i clean up all small pieces of fur that are shaved off?

I’m no expert, but it’s advised you do wear a mask, as you don’t want to get something called ‘groomers lung’ from the mircoplastics that come from the shaved fur. It’s best to shave in a well ventilated space and don’t really let anybody or any pets in the room/area where you are. And I have no idea about the cleaning up haha. I think an obvious idea that comes to mind is hoovering/vacuuming up as much as you can. Hope this helped, but you’re better if a professional answers ^^
