What I've noticed is that the Pretender has to make skin contact with the person she touches in order to turn them into a doll and Raincoat Girl just so happens to be wearing a raincoat, so it's definitely possible. I can't believe I didn't figure it out sooner.

Very interesting theory! And now that you mentioned it, it could be possible that the girl in the yellow raincoat might have actually *SURVIVED* and didnt disappear, and could explain why the coat is open than closed. This def leads to endless possibiities to where the girl might have ended up, in her own story to follow! And I gotta admit, I sometimes wondered myself what happened before the nest and how Six ended up there! Six has been through so much to the point where has become the very thing she fears and avoids.

I clicked on the video at the call of my heart I am also a long-time fan and theorist of Little Nightmares, and I remember how after the release of the second part I always had questions about Six moving from one part to another. For example: how did she got in the Maw? The answer seems to be easy BUT the versions differ. In the 2017 comic, we were shown that the Ferryman took her with him, while in the hidden ending of the second part of the game, we see that the Six gets into a room that is supposedly located on the Maw. Although I have a theory that maybe this is not the case and she just got into the house of some resident of another city, and only after that she was taken by a Ferryman. Your theory seemed to me very logical and interesting food for thought, thanks for the new video 💗

I agree! My conflusion to how she ended up in The Maw is that after escaping the TV, she left the room/building to where the guests are and then was captured by the Ferryman.

What’s funny is that Six’s character description on the site for LN2 says she “awakened in a world she cannot recognize.” And that she’s “not a normal child.” And I don’t know if you’re aware of the supposed new Lonely Ones novel leaks that are being published by scholastic and already have pages on various book sites that unfortunately won’t be out until May of next year.

My questions are how did the Raincoat Girl get a hot air balloon in the first place? How far does the influence of the Signal Tower reach , is there a limit? How does the raincoat even end up in the Pale City? Is there any alternate timeline where Mono and the Thin Man meet up and talk instead of fight? Apart from that great theory video😊

The map in the school's Chess room implies that the Tower's reach is global, although it seems to be more concerntrated the closer you are to the source, which is why the Viewers' faces are completely fucked while people on the Maw and Nest are only a little fucked up.

@mikeey212 but the only problem with that is that the Viewers can't swim and most surely would die by drowning , if not drowning then by the wilderness. They would have to most likely walk to other continents , because they are always attracted to and in search of a TV maybe that's how it happens , then again the Viewers would just send normal people or children straight to the Signal Tower by looking at them. Your theory could be the case that the Signal Tower's influence is so strong that it is broadcasted all over the world , taking over every television show or channel there is. Have you ever noticed that when Six put's the TV on in the Maw , it comes in as an mostly clear image or channel and she doesn't become a viewer , this could mean that the influence of the Signal Tower is weakened immensely since the Maw is so far away from any city and is on the sea. I smell another mystery waiting to be revealed and solved.

@doodgie7004 it was once stated that every person exposed to the Signal Tower became an empty shell of their former selves and acting out of instinct and their desires. But I do believe there is a limit to the influence of the Signal Tower. Maybe it got weaker because Thin Man(Mono) might have been slowly dying and it needed a new host , in this case a new Thin Man or Mono. Your comment holds a lot of truth.

My real question is about where all of the children came from, since at least most of the adults in this world (with Thin Man being a possible exception) seem to want to harm the children. So if they aren’t the children of the adults, what the heck are they? Important edit: I figure that The Pretender is the product of the regular adults in this world since she lives alongside them and acts like them, and I’m not quite sure what Mono is supposed to be since he acts like a normal child and is being threatened by the adults, but still becomes one (or at least something very similar). I’m sorry if this is incoherent, I tend to struggle with putting complex thoughts into words. Extremely important edit: Okay, it’s about a month later and now there’s a LN podcast that seems to have some answers this question.

Awesome theory Jord. I'd never thought that the Raincoat Girl survived, but this theory has opened my mind a bit on that. But what I really want to know is where the children come from in general. If they are born from the Residents then I'm uncomfortable, if they come from another dimension I'm confused, that's honestly the one question that has always bugged me.

I think other theorists said the kids aren’t from another dimension or anything, they just come from parts of the world that are still ok, but not safe since the rest of the world is dangerous.

Great video. I really enjoyed the takes on the story. ☺ I like the idea that Rain Coat Girl (that I'll call RCG) survived, and her and Six boarded the raft together, and RCG collected the floating rain coat to wear again. They reach Pale City forest, and they were ambushed by the hunter. RCG fled to protect herself, and Six was captured. RCG made her way into the Pale City, and abandoned the coat in the Storage Room because the color of the coat stood out against the dark environment so much, that it made her very easy to be seen by predatory people and creatures.. When Six finds the coat, she puts it on because she's freezing and wet, not due to it's connection to the RCG. And eventually, the coat ( mainly the hood ) gives her the feeling of "hiding" herself from this horrible world's threats / dangers, so the coat becomes a comfort and form of protection for her.. kind of like how a blanket or stuffed toy is a comfort and form of security to small children.. so Six keeps the coat on through the rest of her journey.

My theory is that 6 was already looking for a way out of the nest.When she stumbled across the girl in the yellow rainbow, she likely saw the balloon coming and went to go investigate.She met mono at the beginning.Or should I say before the beginning of the game however he too dissappear only too return some time later

here is my theory for the Entire Game : Each Character starts out as a normal child , then events corrupts them in one way or the other ( the broadcast tower corrupted Six and Mono , maybe other events corrupted other children ) , and certain places exists in different time frames ( meaning it is quite normal to meet a future version of yourself ) and basically what happened in LN2 is that Six didnt bother to break Mono's Time Loop , instead she was focused to proceed towards the maw to break her own loop of becoming the Lady , i think Six is the lady , and each kid we meet we either see them transform to Knome or in Mono'[s case the tall man , or if survives and disappears maybe we already saw the adult version of him/her .

My theory is that the girl with long hair probably travelled from the maw to the nest, because I think the girl with long hair is trying to get closer to the signal in the signal tower. The signal in the signal tower is I think is global, I think the girl with long hair travelled to the nest to stop the signal in the signal tower..- But I'm just thinking.., was the girl in with long hair trying to retreat to a mini kid tribe in the pale city? But instead, she got mislead to a different plan as she didn't expect her plan to go as well? I think this theory I a little weird, but I hope it helps the little nightmares community.

Is there little nightmares 3 coming out and where were the game take place in the timeline surley not after little nightmares 2 its either before very little nightmares or after little nightmares 1 because little nightmares 2 is a prequel because its the middle of the timeline and if so will there be little nightmares 4,5, and 6 hopefully there well be because i want more of the story. And my question is the timeline a loop like it restarts it all over can you make a theory on that i think it will be interesting.

I think Six came from a city like london (idk) and she got captured by a monster called the ferryman (that’s what google said) Then she taken into the nest but escaped by herself which is why she meets RG then she takes RGs raincoat in memory of her first friend and the person who helped her escape the nest then she travels to the forest when she sees mono and gets captured by the hunter (I feel really bad for Six im glad she is actually canonically still alive she’s my favorite horror game character)

LITTLE NIGHTMARES THEORY WOOOO

about six getting caught in the wilderness, i don't think the hunter captured six to hurt her, but to save her. i do think that six is the lady (like mono is the thin man), and i think that the hunter the lady have this sort of father-daughter relationship (not literally related, but the hunter cares for her that way). so i think that the hunter took in six against her will because he cared for her, and didn't want her to get hurt/for the cycle to continue. i think he made her clothes as well as the lady's clothes, which gives reason for the piles of fabric and mannequins.

I just came up with something... Could little nightmares 3 be about Six's journey to the maw? Or was she brought to the maw by the ferryman? Or did lots of stuff happen between her leaving pale city and encountering the ferryman?

Very interesting, but still leaves a few questions: #1 2:47 Is there really a "choice"? From what I understood from the drawings, those are a reminder to what the Nomes really are: children. And why not hide, y'know... ANYWHERE ELSE other than the Nest or Maw? There are abandonned apartments at the Pale City that are DEFINITELY safer than either of those places. Is there smth about the drawings that I missed? And if Six knew that kids would turn into Nomes, that would defy the entire reason to why she ate RK in LN1. I'm not completely sure I understood this part of the theory. #2 4:53 And yet, Dark Six shows the path to Mono in a very playful way towards the Signal Tower, right before the Thin Man boss fight. I'm fairly certain that Dark Six placed the Maw as Six's next step due to Hunger. Because Six's newfound Hunger is the main element of the Secret Ending of LN2, alongside the bridge to LN1. And what better place to find food than the biggest buffet on the sea? #3 I thought the actual purpose of a raincoat was to NOT absorb the water. #4 If Six was following Raine (a popular AU name for TGITYR, cause it's so long to say), then where IS Raine? I wish to know more about the "arguments" and "evidences" of your theory, because it seems pretty open and interesting. Best of luck!

Raincoat Girl (Reina/lady’s daughter) first escapes the Nest and then the story of LN2 goes on where we don’t see what’s going on with her, and then in LN1 she’s seen as flashlight girl by RK and loses it, soon becoming a NOME In the nome disco room where we can see the shadows of the nomes as kids they used to be, one of the nomes off to the left (if you shine your flashlight at her) has the same shadow/silhouette as Reina!

Do the spider hands get some love and attention at some point 🥹 Btw going back to when you said about Six marking the days on the wall, i personally think this might not be the case, and its simply the fact that the signal tower is on the wall too. We know this whole world is a never ending loop, six somehow knows of this or maybe someone else? Its very complicated and im too sure myself as to what it could mean. But maybe if your theory is correct, six may know that she is getting closer to the tower and knows of its power? This might be stretch but im just not sure.

Hi. The world isn't canonically a never-ending loop. If that were the case, LN1 would not exist :)
