And because most foreigners don't differentiate anyone, they think all Asians are "japa", I-Chinese, Japanese. I loved everything, music (the sickly chorus is already gum), video, editing, choreography, costumes etc ... Yes to all of this....I have always enjoyed music and attended 10 Elton John concerts starting in 1993 in Salzburg, but never felt obsessed with a group or band like my classmates and stuff did. I was nearly 50 when I found Blackpink, and had what I call my Beatles moment. Got to see them live 3 times, and now I sit in my hotel in Duluth, MN, thousands of miles from my home in San Diego and look down to see my personalized California Blackpink license plate. I love those 4 ladies so much. If it's over for them it'll be soul crushing but what a great 3.5 years I have had since discovering them...

Blackpink debuted in 2016, so they recently renegotiated with their label, YG. Terms are never fully disclosed, but it appears that Blackpink is going to keep working with YG, but the individual members are free to pursue their own side projects. Lisa has her own company LLOUD, which is tied to RCA, and this is the first song released under that label.
