My wife is fighting for her life right now in Southampton General Hospital Intensive care, how is this a blessing my wife always prays and serves Allah swt so loyal and practicing girl too, she don't deserve this curse fighting for her life, I am besides myself day after dfay not knowing if she will make it from sedation and start to breath with her lungs again, its soul destroying I keep asking Allah swt to intervene and save her, I keep asking where are you now Allah when she needs you, I feel ashamed I am now asking our Creator where he is but I am desperate for a Miracle for her :(

May Allah cure her illness and give you and your family patience and peace through this time. It would not be considered a curse but a blessing with my limited knowledge because a death from a breathing ailment is considered a shaheed or martyr same as a person who dies in a fire or drowning and Allah promised the shaheed, Jannah . It is what we seek as muslims husn al khatima or a good end to this life where Allah is pleased with the life we lived and Grants us Jannah.

May Allah cures her. But remember that pains are erasing sins one by one just like old leaves falling down one by one from the trees. This is Allah said not me. And this is also the test from Allah to those who say that they are believers . “Do the people think that they will be left to say, “We believe” and they will not be tried?” Quran 29:2

I have to begin with by stating,just for the sake of being clear before you and the people who follow your talks, that I am not a Muslim, and furthermore I use for guidance another tradition. However this tradition says very prominently in its teachings, "I worship Thee in the church, in the mosque, in the synagogue, in the ahram", and so on. This I mention only so that there be no misunderstandings that I might be misrepresenting myself before you. I subscribed to your "channel" because of an earlier talk that gave me so much satisfaction and left my jaw droping to my chest just on the beauty of it. Pay whatever attention you might wish regarding possible comments that might differ from your point of interpretation but by no means harbor any doubt as to the value of your personal practice on the teachings you profess. You might have a gift of words and thought that allows you to present this teachings of Islam in the way yor do that makes them very clear and accesible. It should be inescapable the ridiculousness of the criticisms, to put it mildly, and in the best of cases, about Islam, frequently by people very much bloated with self importance on account of their "credentials"as scholars of various sorts and kind. It should only take lisltening to one of your talks to leave them exposed as frauds of the worst kind. Only as a mantter of safety and self preservation they should have taken the precaution of checking by themselves some original sourcesTthat would have prevented them from ending up as closet fools, for on top of it all, those airs of expert they put on serve the purpose of intimidating their listeners so they do not think for themselves and buy their crap wholesale. My first awareness of Islam came from reading the Autobiography of Malcom X. At that time I was not even an atheist, so to speak I was 'beyond"atheism. Malcom's experience made me take a note, just to see what might come later. Eventually, finding myself in a personal and ideological political position, not exactly of the most popular, i could not escape the fact that the things said about islam, and the way they were expressed seemed mighty familiar in form and attitude as what had encounterd concerning my own positions and ideological interests. So I checked by mysellf, and here I am. Several years ago I came across a program in a Spanish Islamic channel I used to see before it was wiped out from the TV service i used. It was about the events happening to a Muslim studying to be a priest, pardon me if the term is incorrect. His wife falls ill very gravely and he has to pick up her work for sustenance and leave his studies. His experiences were portrayed in such a beautiful manner that led me to think, "Perhaps we are all Muslims, in spite to the fact that, obviously, we are not all Muslims". Thank you again.

Its beautifull this idealistic concept of khilafa. خلف و سلف did he say it like that? Unfortunately most of us have emotional unstabillity towards the ones that came before us and that is definetely going to relate to what comes after us. So as far as responsibillity goes, yes in the ideal case that everyone has fairly good teachers in life it seems not so hard to carry over i guess. What about the majority that do not have had such great rolemodels and even if aware of that maybe searched far and wide to find one. Will it be sufficient to just take on the spiritual teachings of الصالحين or do we keep looking for a physical teacher in this reality to perhaps give bayyah to?

The videos are great without the music. Please dont divert the message with music. The videos themselves are beautiful. Are they yours? But please ditch the humming. Sheikh's words are too important.

you ask, "Where Did All This Come From" - good question. And your answer is, Allah says it was Allah. Aside from that being a circular argument, it is not evidence. It is just an assertions from a 6th century book full of 6th century errors. Do you have verifiable evidence for the existence of a god?

There are so many signs I can't list them all, Allah signs are every where, but Allah says, it's for only men of understanding. If you don't believe now one day when the angel of death comes, it's going to be to late then, and no, the disbeliever can not come back to repent. That's it.

*Hamza Yusuf you have to deal with Yasir Qadhi's assertions that "There are holes in the standard narrative" about the preservation of quran. Deleting part of video interview done by Mo Hijab, where Qadhi makes this assertion, will not help, you have face the evidence and the reality that quran was not perfect preserved, as admitted, first by Shabbir Ally and now by Yassir Qadhi, two of the greatest and most respected scholars on Islam.*
