Where and How to put dots/stickers/markers on your violin

Музыка

This video tells you how and where exactly to place dots, stickers or markers on your violin.
I only put on the 1st finger and 3rd finger markings as all other fingers can be placed from those 2 markings.
I do NOT recommend you use those 'Don't Fret' stickers or those full fingerboard stickers as they are too confusing, totally not necessary and they make you and your ear very lazy.

My violin course is the only course available on the internet like it.
It 100% GUARANTEES to take you from a complete beginner to an accomplished intermediate level! I realise this is a bold statement, but it's tried and tested and I fully stand by it.
All the lessons come with downloadable only books as well as videos (linked in the books) which makes it the only interactive course of its kind out there!

RECOMMENDED VIOLINS:
Fiddlerman violins are the only violins I currently recommend. You can choose the violin to suite you depending on your budget. Remember the cheaper you go (buying rubbish from Amazon for example), the worse the violin will be (garbage most likely) and the HARDER it will be to learn - which is why Fiddlerman violins are an excellent beginners choice:

😂 since I'm new to violin, I thought I would go look at a few different sources and compare notes. The first video with the really nice lady with black hair who plays the violin and piano. Then the next video I click on is a really nice lady with blond hair who also plays violin and piano. Turns out they're both you.😂 And the good news is the information is consistent between videos.❤

I just picked up the violin again after a great many years and trying to get back my proficiency (proficiency? what proficiency?) but really enjoying it. I did put dots back on my violin and yes, it looks very amateurish, but I am not a professional. Yes, I am brain lazy. it's not my fault: I am not that smart. haha The dots would slide away due to my fingers pressing on it? perspiring (just a little, not a lot) but I must have gotten smarter since I am 57. hahaha. I put transparent tape OVER the dots. didn't do that before. But really appreciate your vids about techniques, how to bow better, etc. thanks much!

I'm subscribed to this channel, although I don't play violin.. There are several hints that assist with upright bass. I stuck tape dots on a couple spots on fingerboard.. It helps. By time tape wore off didnt need them any more.

This sounds so great! I have been watching you for at least a few months or maybe even like half a year now and did not know about your course. Maybe I spaced out or what ever "my ADHD" or maybe that info did not speak out to me at the time but, in any event this makes me really really happy!!! I'm a guitar player for about 15 years of metal music mostly and I enjoy playing the guitar and have not lost interest at all. I have stopped learning as much I use to at my own fault and I think learning the violin will help me expand my guitar skills on top of that I have always just liked violin and iv been thinking about it for months and always come up with the same thing "Yes I want to learn it" so now I'm at the point of just trying to be able to save up enough to buy one. I even thought for a moment to sell my guitar but, that would hurt to much lol. I really want to learn this violin and just over all seems fun so this course I know is going to get me going on the right foot if not more. Not going to be getting it right away but, I will be keeping it in mind for sure. Thanks for your videos and the work you do for us all. Also not to be creepy in anyway but, you look stunning in that dress could not help but, to notice. I'm a sucker for black lol. Well if you or anyone read all this thanks. Know it was a lot for a comment but, I'm excited about the course. ^^

Does dot placement change with the different sizes of violins? I wasn’t sure it the necks are the same size for all and the body was just the difference? Sorry if that’s not the proper terms, just started this past Saturday.

The instructions on Don't Fret are terrible. The second step tells you to loosen the strings, which can break your bridge.
