I see a lot of people clowning your guy for questioning you. From my experience, coaches LOVE it when their students ask questions, because it shows they’re thinking about it instead of blindly accepting it. If i was a coach, I would love being asked questions. 👌

I'm aspiring to be a coach and you're right. I love when people actually question what I say, because not only does it get me to think more about what I'm saying, but also it becomes a group effort for us to come to a complete understanding on something. It's really fun having these discussions. But the main thing I am lacking as a coach is just that seemingly-universal understanding of any in-game situation. I can analyse and critique a VOD correctly but I can never just immediately recognise a pattern or situation in which the person I'm teaching should act a certain way. I guess that's why I'm only Ascendant, because my thought process is generally really slow unless it is a pattern that I recognise.

I actually like when someone challenges or questions further Wohoojin! Ego or not he's immortal for a reason so can't dismiss that, but its interesting how far one can go with how he plays. Making calls vs no calls is better but growing from there is a starting point. I think thats a major starting point versus rushb or rush a.. Insightful really 👍

I dont think its ego, I do genuinely believe a good student is one who questions and challenges, it helps to show your investment in the lesson as well and helps the teacher understand what you dont understand, giving them a better idea on what they need to teach

@@inforcer9454 Asking questions about things that don’t sense isn’t “contradicting”, it’s trying to make it make sense. You learn by repeated thinking about a subject. I would hate students who never questioned anything I said because it likely means they never think about what I say.

The trust teammates part is so relatable. I had my teammate in front of me, I saw them clear left corner, so I assumed it’s safe, I passed without double checking and got hit with a shotgun from that same corner. I told them that I saw them clear it, they said “I looked there”. Never trust your teammates, even your duos.

Here's a reveal that wasn't further explored about this exchange in the intro clip: When my friend makes an analysis call and I say: "I think you're giving them a bit too much credit." 90% of the time it's because *I* wouldn't be making decisions as logically (even subconsciously) as what he's giving them credit for. So the reverse lesson should also be: If you think this is too logical for your enemies, you need to start to learn to apply that logic for yourself more when you're in the type of position they are in.

Question about the intro play whether I understood the tell correctly or not: When people get tagged by a drone in this sort of situation, the direction they hop towards can be indicative of where their teammates are, because (consciously or not) they'd rather be closer to them than end up in no man's land while their location is revealed? And is this the same reason why a couple rounds later (the 140 ding A Main) you guess site is empty because the guy is running towards tree? I don't remember ever connecting those dots I'll be on the lookout now, I'm ascendant if that helps the answer.

Just try to focus mainly on things like mechanics, routing as you enter a site, and most importantly positioning.
