I know it wouldn't work since server lag, but it would be so funny if you were never able to turn it off and silverfish just somehow kept spawning (even when outside the chunk) so you and your friends just have a silverfish apocalypse xD

Easiest thing to do would have to just gone 128 blocks away and came back so they all despawned after blocking the hole with lava.

Next time (not that there'll probably be a next time but still) it could help to open the fence gate then place the glass on the bottom face of the ice that's touching said gate- that way you only have to move your mouse like, 1 pixel

Ypu should build a lava moat around the spawner just yo ensure this never happens again

I had thorns, they did too much dmg for it to help. Water is smart though, there were too many that I didn't think about that

Moral of the story: don't be a fucking dumbass when building a silverfish farm, and if you build one and are scared of accidentaly releasing an infestation, then bring a sword with Bane of Arthropods

I gotta build this on a large server and just let the chaos happen

This reminds me of a time I found a mod where breaking dirt spawns silverfish causing other ones to spawn causing...

If bro places the lava in one wrong spot then the server is dead, at least your base is. Anyway if you just deactivate the dispenser and ran away very far and then came back they would probably all despawn

You should opened the gate with the Glass block so you wouldn't need to switch the slot to place the Glass and the farm would be safe
