@@dreamingjosh3662 Ehh, as someone who was a cashier for 2+ years, they really shouldn’t do that lol. Most places will have a way for the cashier to save the order and put it to the side if rhe person isn’t back by the time you finish bagging it. No real need to hurry, unless you’re gonna be pissy that I moved onto someone else while waiting. From my experience, with 2 diff grocery stores, even if they come back and it’s in the middle of another person’s order, then a coworker of mine who was free would take them, if they could, too. So it really didn’t matter ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ I def would have gotten in more trouble for being rude than for saving the order and waiting xD

@04 Amanda Wong There's a button that says: "Save order" and it prints out a barcode. You can then take another customer, and when the first person comes back, you scan the barcode, and all their stuff comes back up on the screen. You can then add whatever it is they bought and they can pay.
