My dog's daft thing is that she likes to sleep under my quilt so she will walk up the bed and stare at me until I lift the quilt for her to go under, but she sits ON the top of the quilt while she is expecting me to lift it. Often I actually have to push her off the quilt so the I can physically let her go under it. Also she will stay under there until I actually start to worry she's giving herself heat stroke because she's panting so hard. Sometimes I have to physically dragged out to get some air and cool down, but as soon as she has cooled down she's right back waiting to go under again. Other times she stands up under the quilt and then just stands there waiting for me to uncover her. No attempt to get herself out. This is not a stupid dog. She's a cockerpoo and can be scarily intelligent when she wants to be (usually in order to work out how to do something she isn't supposed to do!) But there are times when you just have to wonder if she has bothered switching her brain on or if she's just thinking 'no point wasting my brain power on this. Daddy will sort it out for me if I just act dumb for long enough' 😂
