I once had a tiny abandoned kitten under my deck that I couldn’t get to come out, it just meowed meowed but was too scared to come out. My dog was standing at my door to come out and go potty so I thought I would just come back later and try and get the kitty to come out BUT as soon as my big dog came out, the kitten came right out and ran right to my dog and claimed it as it’s mommy and I all the sudden had a new cat

It is the best. I had a lovely, but big German Shepherd as a child. He just melted when we brought home my first tiny kitty. From then on, my cat ruled the house. My dog hated other dogs, but would let my cat do anything he wanted to him including stealing his food and bed😂😂😂 My cat grew up to believe he was a dog too, and that our dog was his sibling. They were inseparable and both fiercely protective of me. My siblings and mom couldn’t even raise their voice at me before both of them came rushing over to protect me. When my dog died at 12, my cat was devastated even though he went on to live almost a decade longer. However, I never got another pet while my cat lived, because he was fiercely attached to me and I knew it would upset him too much. I will remember them both until the last day until my final breath.

My pupper was a German shepherd and my cat was a street tabby rescue, they were peas in a pod and loved each other to the very end

We had a stray cat that we took in and we also had a dog. The cat took to the dog immediately but the dog only really tolerated the cat. The cat would howl at the front door if he wasn't taken out for a walk with the dog. They would go out for a walk in the morning and evening. The cat would follow and would hide and jump out to get the dog to chase, which she did

@@ES11777 After he attacked my father, he had to remain one day in Hospital. He attacked my mum when she packed for holiday, me when picking strawberries and my girlfriend while just sitting on the Couch. 10 kg of devil.

When I was a kid I had a big ‘ol New Zealand Giant rabbit named Snowball. My Mom’s cat Maggie, a seasoned mouser who has been an indoor/outdoor cat for the first several years of her life was absolutely terrified of Snowball. Snowball was huge-She weighed about 25 pounds & was about three times Maggie’s size. We didn’t let her out around the house as much as we could have (and should have-This was back in the late ‘70s/early ‘80s when most people didn’t realize how social rabbits were) but when we did Maggie would just run & hide.

Generally when cats and dogs fight it's because the dog is aggressive or doesn't understand he's molesting the cat. My dog let my cats sleep on him he was so sweet but let's not forget that unfortunately there are dogs who kill cats without any reason so when I hear people say how dogs are adorable and cats are cold and selfcentered (which is not true) I always think a cat never attacked a baby and kils only his natural preys (if he even does).
