Technically, everything feels louder because you are usually not aware of what the sound by itself sounds like. Honestly, the worst part is having a creaky door and your parents are RIGHT NEXT TO IT. It feels like you can never escape, but I actually did that once. I actually got a few tips on how to survive early in the morning. 1. Wear socks. It doesn’t matter what floor it is, make sure to wear socks so your skin doesn’t grip on the floor and make a horrid sound. 2. Open door knobs slowly. This is especially good if your door is super creaky. 3. Use a flashlight if no lights are open at night. You can also use your phone flashlight, but a normal one is better. 4. Try to be discreet and do not make a single sound. This one’s obvious, no explanation You’re welcome :)
