Pretty sure increasing damage on enemy oneshot would’ve benefitted you considering you were oneshotting enemies very often.

I went through the loop 6 times and was consistently getting damage over a billion using the crossbow! Thanks to that run I was able to unlock all the other guns. Thank you for introducing me to this game!

I made a stupid op build with the crossbow having only looped 4 times. Fun fact, did you know that the 4 side projectiles for some wierd reason dont actually count as projectiles in the mirrored projectiles challenge? I found it strange since firepower also tweaked thos as if they were fired from a seperate gun

I enjoy watching DF get all the good stuff and just have.....a blast 😀

heres a tip if you are using dual weapons, if you want to shoot them both at the same time in the controls change the aim button to your shoot button and it shoots both at the same time

Here are some tips. The range of a gun is determined by which weapon you choose but it's a duration, not a distance. Which means that slower bullets = less range, and faster bullets = more range. fast shots is good for shotguns for this reason. There are about 3 perks which roughly do the same thing in terms of you never needing to reload again. One gives you a chance to not use ammo when firing, one I think gives you chance to autoreload on kill, and one has chance to give ammo back on kill. I prefer the first, ghost ammo, as it has synergy with wind up (more shots before reload increase damage) and it doesn't require you to kill stuff. If you get it to a high enough level you literally cannot lose ammo. Totems are great, but sometimes risky. Here's the variety. Fuse: gives 1 free loot but destroys itself if you don't get to it fast enough. Glass: 1 free loot but can be destroyed by bullets, so you have to be careful around it, or just loot it quick. A few I forget the names of but remember the effect: lose 10% health with a 25% chance to get loot (i think those are the %s). lose 33% health but get money. Lose money with a chance to get loot. Legendary: get a legendary loot but lose 50% max health permanently. Either double or halve your max health. Gain a greed perk. It is important to note that the perk that gives damage reduction reduces all sources of damage, including totems and spiked chests. In other words, it's pretty much a must get. Greed perks have both a large positive and a large negative. I usually don't take them unless I can pick which one it is (eg greed chest, or from shop). THEY CANNOT BE DROPPED ONCE TAKEN. Juiced (weapon mod, epic) is quite good, as it increases damage, fire rate, and makes reload faster. If you look at a mod or perk, in the top right (i think that's where it is) it will say speed, damage, crit, etc. This tells you which chests you can get it from. Random can of course get you anything, but the pool is large so good luck getting anything specific. Upgrade chests are rare, and only offer things currently in your inventory. Greed chests are rarer and offer a selection of greed perks. Parkour Is fairly rare, and makes you do a parkour speedrun instead of fighting. The faster you do it the better the chest. If you fail you still get a healing chest. If you get familiar with it, this is basically a free epic chest. When you fill up all your weapon mods, start throwing out ones which say something like 'shoots out mace balls which do x damage, x sec cooldown'. The cooldown does not decrease with levels, and the damage doesn't scale high enough to do much at higher islands. Same with perks that do flat damage rather than give you a % increase. Accelerating shot is garbage. Never take it. There are about 3-4 mods which affect bullet movement, and if you have any of those with accelerating shot, you will no longer be able to hit enemies with any degree of accuracy. Even without those mods it can make hitting enemies hard as there will be a major delay between shooting at the enemy and the bullets speeding up enough to reach the enemy. If you want an insane run, go loot build. You want to pick up things like driller (luck chest) which gives the explosive rocks a chance to drop loot, tony's black card which decreases shop prices (to a max of 75%), big chests which increases amount of options in chests, special delivery (more items in shop), performance bonus (chance to spawn extra chest after flawless clear of an island), care package (extra chest every 4th island, additional levels increase amount of chests), clearance (chance for items in shop to be 75% off, worse than tony's black card if you get the latter to higher levels, but if you have the perk slots may as well get both), double vision (chance to spawn extra chest after island clear), faulty chests (chance for loot to remain after selecting chest item), gold dice (increases chance that other chance based perks and mods, such as double vision, driller, faulty chests etc, will occur), streamer loot (increases chest loot rarity), level up (every 3 islands increases the level of a random mod/perk in your inventory, higher levels will level up multiple mods/perks at once), rare treasure (enemies have small chance to drop loot) and rigged totems as an optional (increases totem luck, what specifically that affects is unclear). You will also want at least one perk that increases money drops by a %, flat gains like money shot give you comparatively nothing at higher levels. Once you get all this rolling, you will be able to buy 30+ items every shop and will get 5+ items every island. And that's at low levels of rare treasure/driller/gold dice. At higher levels, you will have a 100% chance of chest loot not disappearing, and thanks to big chests you will have 20+ options every chest. Not to mention the decent chances of enemies dropping loot meaning the ground will be covered with loot. Turret perks are garbage. this is because they all increase by flat damage per level (though you also get additional turrets) and there is only one perk that increases turret damage by a %, and it's just not enough to make them viable beyond like island 10. For weapon mods, often a few crit mods don't go astray. sharpshooter for crit hit chance, mega crit for chance to 3x crit, and possibly power punch for increased crit damage. There's also a perk which increases crit damage a lot in exchange for decreasing non crit damage. take it once your crit chance is high enough. Homing shot (legendary) is basically an always take. It does what it says on the tin, % chance for bullets to home on enemies. Basically means you never have to aim again, you can just keep shooting and enemies keep dying. Other such weapon mods I usually take are bouncing shot (bullets bounce when hitting the ground and increase in damage after bouncing), one that makes bullets have a chance to split into multiple bullets in midair and one which makes bullets have a chance to split into multiple bullets when hitting the ground. There's also trick shot, which increases damage when hip firing but decreases damage when aiming. If you're dual wielding, you literally can't aim, so it's just a flat buff. and if you're not dual wielding, you probably don't aim much anyway. Weapon mods which say 'chance for bullets to fire in a square/x/arc' are mutually exclusive, only one can activate and a time and they also replace your standard shot instead of adding to it. So for weapons like shotguns, which fire a lot of bullets by default, they are useless. Good to have one for single shot weapons, though. Note that there are a couple mods with similar wording/naming that don't do the same thing, like triangle shot, which fires out damaging triangles alongside your shot, or arc reload, which fires a damaging arc when you reload. Grenade mods... Unless you're specifically trying a grenade build, these are quite low priority. They're useful to just chuck when you're in a pinch, though. There aren't a huge variety of them either, so you can basically just pick up whatever you find and it'll be a while before you fill all the slots. ones to get rid of when you do fill the slots and find a new one? i think it's called big grenades, or heavy grenades, or both. Increases grenade damage and weight, which means you can't throw it very far.

Ah, couple more things I forgot. When doing the one hit challenge islands, totems that take health count as sources of damage and kill you, unless you use them after clearing the island. After clearing an island, the only way you can take damage is from totems (i'm not sure about fall damage if you take that greed perk). You can swim through lava and walk through fire zones after finishing an island and take no damage.

Finally something on Crab Champions by DF. I've been watching some furries play it, and it is a pretty interesting and fun game.

Next time you do Crab Champions try a new weapon it's more entertaining imo to have some variety in your gameplay something like the auto rifle or minigun you focus more on keeping your distance and it's just fun to be forced into different play styles
