What a sweet incident. Young lady, you're awesome.
Wow, you two shared a great moment in time together. There was a physical distance, but mentally you two connected for this moment... How beautiful is that...

Came looking for this comment. Must have felt amazing to walk in start singing and suddenly organ starts playing along to his singing, I would sh*t my pants lmaoooo
you were his angel that day. i imagine he needed to sing in a church and your accompaniment made him feel heard.
This spontaneous reaction brought tears to my eyes ! Them never meeting shows that the human emotion of love is in all of us at all times ! So emotional ! Thank you both !
Was the man with the heavenly voice ever there, or was it truly an Angel Ana 🙏🏻🕊️🙏🏻
I love this man praising his god in a cathedral. And then the organ's welcoming response. Beautiful.

@@elgenetiamzon1062 it's not uncommon to host musical and theatrical performances in churches, and Salisbury Cathedral does so, but in this case it is absolutely still a consecrated and working cathedral too.
Music knows no border. This reminds me Of a trip I went to in New Orleans. I visited a very grand Cathedral. The organist was practicing the America the Beautiful and I started singing along the melody, then suddenly the tourists started singing along with the organist. We made a spontaneous choir with everybody from all over the place. It brought tears to me.

Fun! Did people make up their own harmony lines? Or maybe they'd performed it before in a choir with multiple voice parts. This happened to me once on a boat near the Statue of Liberty. It was a lot of fun. I was on a trip with my college choir so we went all out on making up harmonies.

Thank you for allowing his voice to take the lead.
As a fellow organist, I can tell you that you likely made his day too by accompanying him. Well done.
Magic how you went straight to his note without a thought !

Yes! I was thinking she must have been singing it to herself to figure out the key and flawlessly jump in on the right chord! Mad Skillz

@@laceandribbonsviolin somebody have absolute hearing, which means when they hear a frequency, they can say, it is a D sharp for example. Somebody have only relative hearing, they can only "hear" the distance between the two frequencies. My friend is an organist, he must try at least one sound in this situation to jump next time to the right sound for join with the organ to the singer. And I also have only relative hearing :/ I cannot learn, which sound is which.
