Do not change one iota of that accent! Reminds me of my years in North Carolina! I guess I was your age then... I love the lazy girls makeup application.. if only my 64 year old skin was as young and fresh as yours!!! Fun to watch though! Thanks for putting a smile on this young at heart older gals face! * just checked out that video from 6 years ago! The biggest difference is that you have SLOWED down in your speech... you are no longer rushing to get the words out! Beautifully done!

This is very close to my everyday for work. I use Nars Moisturizing tinted spf 30 and Nars creamy concealers and the pot concealer. I use Stila Mangnolia. One my cheeks. LM cavier sticks in the colors you mentioned. Then my lips are any mood I'm in. I now have whittled down my makeup I own. I believe I have less than 40 items. 2 years ago I had 300! So much happier with good products and not a bunch of failed ones.

Does anyone still do brow bone highlighting? It seems, at least from what I’ve seen, this isn’t popular anymore 🤷🏼‍♀️ Like deliberate highlight of the brow bone. I love a “pillowy grey” color, which seems to describe a warm/slightly brown-toned grey. I really enjoy that you don’t just talk about products. You talk about technique, making your videos relevant to people like me who don’t own any of these products. You explain a product type and methods of application that can work across many other products of the type. I really appreciate your approach to your videos!

P.S. I would like to know what sunscreen you use. I am so interested to know what spf people use under the type of makeup they use. I found that the new Lancôme Teint edole concealer doesn’t sit well over my tried and true spf so sadly… I had to let it go. I center makeup selection around compliance with my spf 😆🤓

There are so many Beauty gurus on here who just sit there in a chair all made up and bring out one product after another to thr viewers, and then list them all in the information box, without giving us any kind of technique , or showing us how we can use it or doing a demo to make us want it. Not so Shelby. She almost always does a demo and that's what I love about her videos❣

Much Needed for me . I've almost stopped sad I know wearing makeup because of time and I'm very lazy but when I see myself during the day I freak out because I didn't take the extra few minutes to apply 🙃 I really do feel much better, pulled together and even smile more when I take the time. I think I will have to finally try your Laura Mercier caviar eyeshadows! My everyday look is Glossier skin tint, Boy Brow, and Lash Slick. Then Nudestix lip and cheek, whatever color I'm in the mood for. I sometimes skip eyeshadow, or use a sheer Sephora liquid eyeshadow or the Nudestix plush paint if that's what I'm using on my lips and cheeks. Sometimes I use the Nudestix highlighter on my eyelids.

Your looks are always beautiful, fresh and classy. I have a chronic illness and though I love to wear makeup I’m tired half way through. This is perfect. God bless!

Your videos just make me happy! I do understand the accent change. I'm Texan and it definitely sounds like it. But when I was younger it was so much stronger. Keep making content, it helps relax me at the end of my day, and your eye shadow techniques have my life.

Love it, I'm a lazy make up kind of girl, mainyl cos I can't be bothered with faffing around with all sorts of different products and brushes, and then wash it all off at the end of the day, ha! You're one of my fav youtubers, love how real you are and you always make me giggle. "I don't know how relevant that way, but anyway". Lolz.

I have kids to so I barely have time for makeup but I like wearing it so I do minimal makeup during the week too. I like the Saie tinted moisturizer and Nyx tinted moisturizer too. I have to be quick in the morning. I'm going to try the Saie bronzer that you used. The Elf putty bronzer is a little darker than I thought and is just o.k. but thr Saie one looks really good 👍 Thanks for the video!

This is slightly more than I do for everyday. I don't use any setting powder except a bit on my nose. I love this barely there makeup look!

Love those shadow sticks. I can’t do warm as the only color either but didn’t get it until now - stand alone makes me look sick too. That mascara is really really wet - I will try it again now that it has sat. I can’t do eye cream in 5 - I almost think the more skilled the faster you can be.

Have you tried the Kjaer Weis cream blush in the shade *Inner Glow? I would love to see something more detailed about bronzer from you. I’ve always avoided it because my skin is so pale and it usually seems too dramatic for my look, but the way you do it is and awesome subtle glow.

I would love if you did more tutorials like this. I don’t typically watch makeup videos on KZread anymore, since most content creators either (a) Do product reviews rather than tutorials, and/or (b) Do tutorials for heavy makeup looks, which I personally don’t think looks good. But I would love tutorials on how to do your more natural-looking, sheer makeup looks.

Have you tried Kosas Air Brow Volumizing Gel? It's great! Kate the Great recommended it and I love it--I now use it instead of my old combo of a Nyx brow pencil+Nyx brow gel. Thanks for the video, always appreciate the quick routines!

Have you tried Charlotte Tilbury's Unisex Healty Glow? That is my throw on and go face base. It makes my skin look hydrated and healthy and sort of looks like my skin when it gets that first bit of summer glow to it. Holy grail product for me.

The Slip Tint reminds me of Wet n Wild Bare Focus Tinted Hydrator and it's only $5. I just apply an spf first

I love the eye look! I’ve never been able to brush any shadow on my lower lash line and have it look right. I’d love any tips!

I used to struggle with that too until I started using a small flat brush and then using that flat edge to almost line my lower lid with it. Then I use my fluffier blending brush to buff it a smidge so the line is a little soft and diffused. I'm basically doing one and done shades exclusively these days so that makes it easier too because I don't have to figure out which shade will look right - it all just comes together. I prefer brow gels compares to pencils. My brow hairs are so light and I find the pencils color too much of the skin under the hair so it leaves my brows looking weird. Plus its hard to find a reddish brow color in any brand

Have you tried the Vieve shadow sticks? They have mattes and I heard it’s a beautiful formula. I have heard all of their products are just beautiful and multi tasking like the primer/liquid highlight. Also About Face has a ton of shadow sticks colors in shimmer and matte. Sending oodles of love.

I have the Vieve shadow stick in "Camel" and love it! Beautiful color and texture - gives you lots of time to play around but once set it doesn't budge. Also, I've got really sensitive eyes (and contact lenses) and while BB ones irritate my eyes, the Vieve one doesn't. Highly recommend it!

When you weake up early in the morning for work, you don't have much time for make up..so i clicked so fast😄

I have chronic fatigue and fibromyalgia plus… I never wore makeup still don’t, but being home bound since 2014 I got bored. Not knowing a thing about social media at the time, fast forward to I got into doing makeup giveaways on ig won many times until politics came into the picture. I too love to play with makeup but fade out having to take off the makeup. Since being banned on ig, I stopped waTching and doing makeup. Any suggestions to get me back to practicing makeup?
