I'm a girl, and I've recently been cast as Fester in my school's productions of The Addams Family - this soundtrack is so helpful to someone who can't read music! Playing a male is also a lot of fun too, might I add!

No wonder this show is filled with comments about auditions, it's absolutely perfect for High Schools. Pugsley can be played by a 9th grader(for the younger look), Wednesday can be played by a 9th grader or 10th grader, Morticia, and Gomez can be played by 11th or 12th graders, and Grandma and Fester can be played by 12th graders. It's great for showing age differences and it has a range of ages for everyone to play.

In our show we do have pugsley played by a 9th grader, but a 9th grade girl, because we didn't have enough males to audition, and lurch is being played by an 8th grader.

I was the ASM for our production and this was our sound track and let me tell y'all it was the best! We had an absolute blast and i still have all the songs memorized

I’m the light board operator and can’t wait to put on the show in March. Heard them rehearsing the music when building the graveyard crypt and hearing them to the ending put chills down my spine

This is what we did my Freshman year last year for the Spring Musical. It was the best musical that I've ever done even though that was the first musical I've been in. I was an Indian Ancestor and I was a Pugsley Understudy. That production was LIT!!!🔥🔥🔥

When we did it, our Morticia turned to the audience with an arched brow and said 50? And it was a very good use of the pause in my opinion

I love this song so much, I’m playing Fester and our choreographer literally has me do the whip twice to wake up the ancestors

I was Wednesday Addams in this musical at my local Community Theatre! I would do it over and over if I could! I loved this show.

I’m the piano player and I’m having my show in the spring. Kinda nervous but this is my favorite song to play in this musical.

Whenever this song is playing I always do the clicks even if I’m not concentrating on the song itself

I’m doing flute and the cast keeps bad mouthing us, and I’m just like, “WELL YOU HAVE MONITORS FOR RELEASES AND TEMPO AND YET YOU CHOOSE TO IGNORE IT, SO DONT YELL AT US!”

Using this to practice my orchestra part. The only recording I could find of this number that had the entirety of both the lyrics/dialogue and the instrumentals.

I'm in a semi professional production of the Addams family because I'm a pretty strong soprano and the director needed all the sopranos he could get. Unfortunately I'm also dyspraxic so learning the dance has been a literal nightmare 😭

My school is doing this musical right now and I'm playing Pugsley and I'm also a freshman and I'm so excited!!!!

This Gomez is played by Jesse Sharp, and Morticia is played by Keleen Snowgren. Wikipedia doesn't say who are the actors in these recordings and I haven't found any comment saying it either. But I managed to find a link with that very info.

I was just in addams family as the grandma and omg I miss our cast sooo much we’re already planning reunions

Their american accents are amazing

Fun Fact: I performed this in a workshop program at my school and my line was: "You need a moment to explode!" I will never forget it

we were doing this show at our school, opened two nights ago and closed last night. we were supposed to have seven performances but only got to have two, as it was canceled because of COVID-19. still sad that it closed, came here to mourn it :((

Just finished the show last night as Pugsley Addams, best experience of my life!!

My theatre is doing this show. I’m an ancestor bc according the dance director who’s also my mom I’m a really strong dancer and they wanted all the dancers they could get for the the ensemble. We have both middle schoolers and high schoolers playing leads bc the kids in my theatre company are so talented

Morticia says:" First date you took me to sea," but in the original series the first date was at Death Valley

playing Wednesday in my theatres production!! these helped us a lot

My production company are holding auditions on November 3rd and I'm auditioning for Wednesday Addams. Hopefully I get the part!!! There doing the school edition one though...

i’m the flight attendant ancestor (our director said we don’t have to dress as the ancestors name, so i’m dressed as a princess bc that’s cool) and i get to walk through the audience and scare and talk to them while fester dances :)

im on stage crew for our schools musical, its my first production and my first big activity for sophmore year, the stage crew has to dressed as ancestors for more seamless scene changes and we chose a boy band theme cause we need to have white beanies to cover our dyed hair and im one of two crew that has to be out on stage for when the rest of the ancestors come through the crypt to keep it from moving and i get to completley improv what im doing during the dance so im super excited for it
