One thing I admire about Heroes is that they don't run negates (aside from maybe Plasma) which makes them a delicious target for nibbing.

That's the whole point, it's a hero deck, its about defeating your opponent with sheer will, not by preventing your opponent from playing the game through negating Negating effects are more evil in nature because they are intended to break your spirit Hero decks are inspiring and even winning with hero decks are more impressive because even the opponent will smile

Opening the spirit gates (the first spell he played) acts as a negate by switching hamon from atk position to defense position, while field spell protects hamon from absolute zero. The final spell card is called Rank-Up Magic The Seventh One, lets you summon a number monster with numbers between 101 and 107 and then rank them up into their C version. Sadly seventh one is kind of a gimmick because to use it you have to draw it as your normal draw, reveal it when drawn then use it in the main phase and while it summons the regular number from extra or gy the C version has to come from extra

Opening of the spirit gates isn't the negate, that one is Cerulean Skyfire, which of course is the name of Hamon's attack in the anime. But the rest of it was completely correct.

Hero player should have also gone into Plasma

Then dark angel would've been negated. Dark angel has outs like link 1, tribute and tribute cost eff. But having dpe, dark law helps and FC Plasma isn't a stable end board cos raigeki, lightning storm, book of cards etc.

ok, that's not how you use Dark Angel lol. Firstly, there is the issue of monsters in defense mode (in a pure destiny hero, dusktopia also works using the quick effect on the dark angel) and secondly, to use Angel in the GY, you must summon destiny hero dominance, to change the order of the opponent's cards and you shouldn't do a search either.

A hero player also gave me that monster. Thanks for free link summon material, mate!. I played labrynth btw 😂🎉
