When You Just Cant Do it Any More | Unwanted Monstrosity Removal
Ойын-сауық
Do you ever feel like you are over pruning a large, fast-growing bush? This elderly customer was at that point in her life where she just couldn't maintain this bush anymore. Apparently it started life as 4 small bushes and had grown into this monstrosity, practically taking over the whole area. After the job, the customer planned on removing the raised beds and planting some grass for easy ongoing maintenance. All up, the job took us about 1.5 hours to complete, and we did 1 trip to the tip.
Workers on this job: George (long pants) & Brent (shorts).

FAQ's:
Q: Do you worry about snakes?
A: I have never even seen a snake in 4 years on the job.
Q: Where are you located?
A: We are from Hobart, Tasmania, Australia 🦘🦘🦘.
Q: Which equipment do you use?
A: We use mostly STIHL power equipment (battery and petrol) and commercial Honda self-propelled mowers.
Q: How much do the jobs cost?
A: Sorry, I prefer not to talk about costs!
Q: What happened to Nick?
A: Nick was offered a full-time position at his other job as a Political admin!
Q: Why don't you use tarps instead of cans?
A: Tarps are too difficult to move through small spaces and lift into the trailer. The same for wheelbarrows, they are only good for unloading the trailer!
Q: Why are the hot water cylinders outside?
A: I'm not really sure to be honest, maybe something to do with space & maintenance, but either way, it really is poor heat efficiency!
Q: Why are you cutting so close to your employee!
A: I'm not cutting too close to my workers, they are standing too close to where I am working! All of my workers have been told numerous times about standing too close to the tools and about the hazards involved!
Q: Why do your workers do all the lifting and carrying?
A: Basically, they are employed to carry things and I pay them well to do the job required.
Q: You work so well together, how do you do it?
A: That's the magic of editing. My workers are basically given instructions on what to do, I just edit it all out, so the videos look seamless!

Boy, do I ever understand this homeowner! I can't tell you how many plants/shrubs/trees I've removed because their obnoxious habits (overgrowth, 10,000 seedlings each year, etc.) have just become too much! I think her plan to replace those beds with grass is a great idea -- much easier to maintain for us seniors! (BTW, Brent is one heck of a good worker! You're lucky to have him on your team!)
Hats off to Brent. Damn your a hard worker👍👍👍
Your ci2 you have working with you is Gold, you want to hang on to him he’s worth it, Melbourne vic Australia
Love the way you tidy as you go 🚶♂️ ❤️
Go, Brent! It's your birthday!🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉 Go, George! It's your birthday, too! 🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉 You gents are a dynamic duo! Peaceful restoration. Enjoyed the clean up. Badly needed sorting and you did it!🎉😊
I'm not surprised the owner wanted that obnoxious bush removed. You guys did a great job of clearing it up.
Brent, your helper sure does a great job; workers like him are hard to find. You both are hardworking individuals. Wish your company existed in Texas, USA.
it would be good to know what plant that is ...so WE CAN ALL AVOID IT

Great job! At first I thought it was a pity to get rid of what looked like a flowering bush but then it was clear it was a matted mess and not attractive at all. It’s a nice multi level garden and the views from that back deck must be amazing.
Excellent, all clean and tidy and so much space. 👍😊
Another great job! That bush was a monster. Brent deserves a medal for this one! What struck me though was that the customer’s garden was well tended (for a change), and aside from that monster bush, everything else was neat and tidy. I’m sure most of your viewers would love to know what the customer intends to do with this space now that it’s all cleared. Cheers 🇨🇦

Guys, from start to finish you both do a wonderful job. Great team work with an excellent result. Your work is a pleasure to watch. From Queensland
Brent wins the gold medal in the Olympics Lawn Care Marathon. He must have lost a few kilo running back and forth, 999 times. He was awesome. One suggestion to improve efficiency, would be to hoist several clumps of bush at a time to the higher ground, and then load them onto the truck. Nice job chopping down the wolly hedge bush. George and Brent, you could get a side job in sheep shearing.

So nice to see you guys pulling stumps and roots to make sure the shrubs don't grow back. I've seen guys just cut down to ground level and call it done.
Some people have homes smaller than that bush! What a great video. You can see why, they wanted it gone, really.
That was awesome, slicing that Bush until gone. Lots of hard work for your assistant too! Great job, very satisfying!
I like the way you keep your work area clear, a good safety precaution.
Great job Gentlemen, lots of work. At least it didn't have thorns!! Thanks for sharing :)
Oh I hope they have good plans for those garden beds! It looks bare now. But it was a very messy looking shrub. Good to get rid of it. I'm surprised you took all the compost away
Спасибо! Очень приятно смотреть на вас! Настоящие профессионалы! Супер!
Great improvement George, that was a big bush. You both deserve the Rake Man Award this week. Awesome work. 🙂🚜🐻 Bear Queensland Oztralia
I love how you slice through that bush like a loaf of bread. Brent rolls the slice into a ball and carries it away. 😁 👍🏾

Hope this was done out of the bird nesting season. Remember before you cut down any large bushes or hedges you are legally bound in the U.K. that is to check for nesting birds first from 1 March to 31 July but it’s recommended that you extend that time to September if you can.
That's the way to take down a humongous shrub! You sliced it like a piece of cake. That would have annoyed me too. Now it's a blank slate to extend a patio or just make it a rock garden. Love watching y'all work. Georgia USA

That empty space would be a great place for a vegetable garden. Might as well have something useful with all that growing going on. Great job on the clean up afterwards. I wonder if people mistake Brent's line of work as a 'cat wrestler'. He must get so scratched up.
That was a beautiful bush. I was sorry to see it go but I understand for elderly folks it would be hard to maintain. You once again did a fantastic job once more. Your the best. Thanks for sharing.

You guys are terrific. Your videos are amazing to watch
Placing the compost bins so close to the monster might've has something to do with it becoming a monster...Nice clean-up.
Uprooting totally is the most difficult job, u ve done it admirably, well done 👏
Appreciate your showing the technique of handling a large overgrown shrub area. I've seen someone back off from a large Bougainvillea clump recently, and while I don't blame them (thorns), there are still times a shrub needs to go. I was joking to myself for a while that you were sheering a large sheep... That is a huge space recovery. Although stated to be a vigorously growing plant, the roots interestingly seemed to come up pretty easily. Nice work you two.
Hi guys, very pretty shrub. Looks like it would need a lot of pruning. Makes the yard look a lot bigger. Great job as usual. Hope it doesnt get to cold for his shorts...lol. Stay Safe ❤🙏❤🙏🤗
