I can’t believe we’ve come to the point where we have to tell people to stop filming and help their kitty. Cats are so resilient so least we know that they fall on their feet.

I'm glad you wrote this. One type of video I don't like is when a cat has a box over his/her head and stumbles around blindly trying to get it off. To me it's not funny, it's cruel.

@@elainevankat5353 It's a plastic casing around the light element, which is either a light bulb or a LED. Cats can't destroy the plastic casing. These light chains are designed to be kid and animal proof.

Mine I had to watch because he didn't have two braincells to rub together. He was registered at the vet as Fluff for brains. Vet nurse asked why. I said you'll see. Got him back 30 mins later with the comment "That's the stupidest cat I have ever met." Fluff was a bimbo, cute, friendly, thick as two short planks.

I am concerned about the danger as well as curiosity that are NOT safe for your pet. It's not OK to film you pet(cat) continue to do something dangerous while you film them. I have no appreciation for teasing or letting your pet do something that's not safe just to get a picture.

At 8:44 is my cat Exactly every single morning between 5 and 6 am to wake my mom up. Yes, super annoying, but I've learned to ignore it 'cause 5 am is just way too early to be up. Surprisingly, my mom fed both our dog and cat this morning, and after he was fed, he came to sleep back with me on my bed. I might have been half awake, but too tired to actually "wake up," and open my eyes. But all I heard my mom say: "Aww, how cute." and I didn't know why she kept saying that and I finally opened my eyes a little bit and there he was laying passed out asleep behind my legs and he's *never* done that in the mornings before even when he lets me sleep in. I think my cat's learned that 5 am is too early to be up at esp. for me. My mom tries to sleep in too, but our cat doesn't quit and when he scratches and meows at her door long enough; it makes our dog start up crying at her. Basically, our dog sleeps with my mom while our cat sleeps with me.
