I love LW’s petals because it’s super versatile, allowing strange hero picks on maps with brutal high grounds like Rein on Dorado. But as LW, it’s very rare for people to use the platform, and playing with a lifewaver, I feel 99% of them only use it directly below their own feet. Smol brain community.

I tend to be a bitch...but I'm also not normally using my mic. Lol I swear and complain to myself. If I'm on mic, I'm doing my damn best to be kind and positive, saying good work and being generally pleasant. I'm also a support main, and have thank you and I'm sorry responses quick bound so I can use them when I get saved or fail epically (or pathetically) lol

Tbh I'd say cosplaying is a form of role-playing. Role playing is acting out as another character and I'd argue dressing up as someone else is role playing. ALTHOUGH as a person who plays DnD and cosplays there are different levels to it.

Like in this scenario, the dude wasnt cosplaying, cuz they didnt have a costume (albeit mdf could actually be dressed as a troll, Ill admit that), but could just be roleplaying as an internet troll. Former teacher here. Yes, there are some schools that still have similar computer classes to the ones we used to go through in school, but for the most part, schools have moved away from them. Computer lessons are kinda built into the other classes now, especially in schools where Chromebooks have become an essential tool.

Yo! I just had a game this morning of quickplay. Mystery heroes qp at that. Dude on the enemy team went off about 'team diff' on Samoa, first round. Maybe two minutes in and ragequitted after we locked the point. Wasn't even the end of the round, we just caught the point. We literally just won a single team fight, the qp warriors are nuts. XD

I had this Cass in QP the other day that was talking shit about our tanks saying they’re not in position when literally him and the Ashe kept dying

QP might be more toxic than ranked at this point. Me and my friends 4 stacked last night and my friend who loves rein got told “switch or we lose” by our Cass who proceeded to spend the whole of 2nd and 3rd point flaming from spawn saying my rein was throwing the game, while he’s literally in spawn doing nothing. I will never understand the level of insecurity and childishness in this game

Middle school teacher here. I can confirm that we don't have computer classes where we teach kids how to use a computer. It's actually a big problem, because when we ask them to use a computer for something they have no idea what to do. The way they use their phones and tablets does NOT translate to knowing how to navigate a computer at all.

Dude, computer classes... 3rd grade when I was 10, (that's 20 years ago...) we mostly just had to learn how to use the keyboard and type on it. Where to position your fingers like, index fingers on the "nipples" of *F* and *J* .

There are a lot of kids born after between 2005-2010 that simply never had any experience with a PC, only cellphones, I have heard from friends that work on schools that the some kids don't even know how to use Microsoft Teams or recover an email...

Yep, this is what makes qp awful. Toxic competitive players go into qp and then get mad when others aren't playing like it's t500. An excuse I've gotten was that they didn't want to hurt their rank by playing comp.
