Ikr I recently lost on master duel to a burn deck it was BS constant threatening roar and just dessert and Lava Golem

With a hand like that, you don’t care how long the opponent takes as you can just sit down with a drink & snacks knowing they are so screwed

With how much players flex these days, I feel like you could do that on any of your opponent's turns. It's like, "Oop, it's my opponent's turn and I'm wide open. Better go make myself a sandwich because he's probably not gonna actually finish me off for like thirty years."

They always seem to negate my lightning storm or Harpies Feather Duster

I really miss the hey day when I was playing with my friends during the GX era, removal like harpies feather duster and raigeki and their retrains were very much prevalent but we always had an out, magic jammer, seven tools of the bandit, spell shield type 8, and we always had like 3-5 contingency plans to win, now its all out in 1 turn and if that doesn't work then immediate scoop

we call this "over-extending" where you do a lot more than you need to. in slower decks like burn, you dont put everything on the field that you can unless you can win that turn or the next, because things like this can happen at any time.
