Ibn Al-Qayyim رحمه الله a dit : « Il est étonnant de voir que lorsque l'homme éprouve quelque besoin matériel, il dirige tous ses espoirs et oriente toutes ses demandes à ce sujet vers Allah. Alors que dans le même temps, il omet de demander à Allah d'accorder la vie à son cœur en le sauvant de la mort que causent l'ignorance et le détournement, et en le guérissant de la maladie des désirs et des ambiguïtés.
