yeah true i'm more commenting upon him being too much of a sunshine to be that intimidating but yeah he's a little calmer these days haha

I relate to him on a spiritual level. He's really an introvert. He doesn"t express his emotions unless he really feels them, and that can come out as being emotionless but he's actually so kind and genuine.

Haby 2611 I can relate I was in a dance for performance once and the instructor told me to smile more but I’m like “how tf do you expect me to smile when I don’t even know if I’m smiling when I’m happy” and when I actually really feel happy and smiling widely I realise it a few moments later and immediately stop smiling ._.

This is the story of my life! it's so frustating... Especially because we live in a world where extroverts are seen as friendly and nice and intoverts as cold and pretentious. Shownu was bawling so hard when they had their first win he couldn't even speak. And he NEVER cries. I'm probably biased but I feel like introverts are the most genuine when it comes to emotions because they simply don't know how to fake them

He's honestly so underrated as a member of Monsta x tbh. He is the foundation of Monsta X, and he truly is so, so humble despite the fact that he's super talented and handsome. I'm so glad that he is the leader!!!!

he really is underrated. Even if he goes on a lot of variety shows by himself, and alot of non-fans know him, he is very low in the popularity. Not many Monbebes claim him as their bias, and alot of people overlook him.

its true. once i was participating in monbebe's project to send monsta x presents and letters and there were like 7 or 8 Monbebes for each member but only 2 for Shownu. Me and the girl who was the head of it. I feel so sorry for him, my little fluffy ball of cuteness.

I've said it before... he is Monsta X's ROCK. The stereotypical Dad figure to the tee: leadership skills, reliable, dependable, unshakable, seemingly unbreakable and filled with STRENGTH to support his family. Those are characteristics I see in my own dad and many other dads I've come to know. When the going gets tough, they hold their team together with strength of character and shed tears only when their family receives much deserved recognition.

duh i never thought of shownu as a normal one, monsta x arent a place for normal boys, they are all amazing, sweet, weird, dork, talented boys.but i admit he was the most shy person in monsta x, i followed them since the beginning, his character is unique, thats we know he is shownu, the emotionless leader, ahaha but he seems not anymore he is now more open up and laugh alot. keep supporting our boys ya,

Not going to lie, when I first got into Monsta X, Shownu was my least favorite member because he is emotionless. I would call him robot. But, then I realized he is absolute sweetheart and it's probably hard for him to express himself, while most of the members are sensitive he is the one that keeps them in line. He definitely has that dad like quality and I understand why he is the leader. But, I still call him robot though 😂

Once you see him with kids, you see a totally different side. That's when I really started to adore him.

I like him sincerely, he gives off the vibe of someone loyal and that will protect his loved ones from everything which is attractive

He just has a hard time showing emotion but that doesn't make him any less of a sweetie

Shownu is such a sweetheart and my bias in the group. I can even go as far as saying that he is my ideal type. Although not my ultimate bias he is pretty high up in the list. He has so much to offer I hope people appreciate him and the other member too.

He’s not good at expressing himself but tell him to dance and he will give everything. But he’s improving and trying his best everyday. I hope no one misunderstand, there’s someone said before during the worldtour that she’s quite disappointed bc she’s a shownu stan but he hardly give expression to the fans etc, but pls do not misunderstand. He’s just like that, he is awkward and shy. Let’s not force or expect him to do what other members does.

I cried again because of their first win

I remember a video of Monsta x member telling a ranking for who of them was completly different at home for what they show in front of cams and they said Shownu was 100% the same. This appa bear is an incredible human to me....his way of being is really calm and quiet. He have lots of feeling but is strong enough to not show his "weak" side but sometimes he cant deal with it like the first time winning in theshow...He is the best leader that Monsta could have and all the members trust in him, they see him like an important reference figure. Thats the reason I believe Shownu was chosen for leader finally and not Wonho...the bunny is too emotional and all his feelings stressed him too much. Love you Shownu. Monsta x fighting!!!

Rain .o. Go watch literally everything from Monsta X. EVERYTHING. 😂 They’ve been my favorite group since debut.

He makes the most unexpected noises ever, for ex the pig noise lmao

So basically he also started to 'open' when being at MonstaX, thans to them and Monbebe he become more open minded. Same like Leo from VIXX. Both seem to be serious but end being cute and extra adorable ^_^ I would like to go with him to ghost house, i could hide behind him ;D
