At the Nicomekl Salmon Hatchery our volunteers are busy all year round. In this video, we see our volunteers giving the tanks a thorough cleaning after we release our baby salmon back into the river system where their parents came from. There are other tasks that our volunteers do when all the fish are gone, like cleaning, maintenance, grass mowing, making wooden salmon for school kids to paint.
