When we die, are we gone?
Ғылым және технология
Given Brian Greene’s views on free will, you may not be surprised by his views on the afterlife. But because of physics’ understanding of time, we may not be “gone” after all.

So remember folks...Wherever you go, there you are......And always were.
As Joseph Campbell once said......Eternity is here and now. The moments that we are now living exist forever...
[Flashcard] We die fully but simultaneously live forever in some section of time understood as dimension
Suffering is eternal and infinite. Thanks for the reminder.
I don't want to die. I still want to be with my children, my parents, siblings, nieces and nephews. I don't want to be gone forever 😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭

To bad
Death = oblivious in oblivion...
As shrek once told me, I ain’t the sharpest tool in the shed. No wiser words have been spoken.
Game Over, our time stops... Let is go, let it go from your control the dying of the light...
so if by ''forever'' you mean present day and future is illusion then you can't say ''i live forever'' at death bed.
So, if I'm consciouss as of right now, living moments that exist eternally. I could live them again? Or in a different branch of events? Why would death follow the same linear rules than a brain?

Every moment is eternal, you think time is flowing because you have information about prior events and projections into the future in the "present", but each moment in your life is equally real, including what you think is actually the future. I think that's it
Contradictive ... but it woud have to be.

+MIKE STANIER It's not really contradictory, you can die but exist as a static spot in the universe for as long as you were alive but that doesn't mean you didn't die or stop living at another static point in the universe. Think of it like a point on a line. That point will always be where it was on the line but that doesn't mean the other points don't also exist along the same line. So it's not really contradictory just kind of confusing.
Nice... so my life is, has been, will always have been and will always be... absolute shit.
Rage against the dying light..rage!
Or we probably live the same life over and over in past parallel universes
What happens when a dog, cat, bird, ant, chimp dies. We evolved just like every other life form.

The same for everything from life to any unstable particle
